Impressive customer service is quick & of good faith.Removing the provided plastic bowls for cleaning can be tricky, & increases the chances of breaking the dovetail fittings. Adding the stainless steel bowls prevents this. Otherwise, the feeder is much better than others I've bought over the years.Dispensing - good... kibble size key is printed on the lid...no kibble back ups.Lid removal - good...tight & not flimsy, easy to remove & put back on.Cleaning - goodPower sources - goodProgramming - the easiest of feeders I've encountered thus far.Pricing - good & competitiveI'll buy from this vendor again.

Wow, this works great if you can figure it out. I didn’t realize that the amazon website product description had helpful instructions. It took me over an hour and 3 trips to the store to figure out that it takes D batteries. There are helpful hints everywhere if you just look. I never did find any advice on how to set the portions and mealtimes but I did figure it out. I also recommend paying attention to how to lock the lid to keep the food safe and fresh, and I will probably wash all the parts before refilling. Or maybe even sift the kibble before adding it, to remove the excess dusty bits. I haven’t tried that yet though. So far, 1 portion 6 times a day seems to be enough for my over-indulgent tabbies.

Great purchase for my cats!!!Even better for me. They like to eat around 6:30 am. I’m now able to sleep in a little later. I will forever use an auto feeder 😉

This is very easy to program, doesn’t take up much space, and holds plenty of food for the week. I also like that the top screws on and stays in place so the cats don’t knock it open.

I would say this item serves its purpose. Easy to set up and the kibbles seem to stay fresh. However, the kibbles do get stuck. Most of the time I am at home to help when they are stuck.., however, my concern would be if I went out of town for a few days and the kibbles are stuck…. The functional part could need some approve it. My cat has the help the machine out……. He is not paid. Lol

I am so disappointed in this product. I had to go away so bought this to keep my cats fed in my absence. When I got back from my trip 3 days later the food was stuck in the shaft and nothing on the bowls. I looked inside only to see it was at the same level I left it. Which means my cats got no food for 3 days.

This thing is a life saver. We have it set to feed our cats every few hours because it seems like that’s all they want to do is eat. We found ourselves being pestered to go feed them all the time and that is what pushed us to purchase this. I would buy this a million times over. I also want to mention if your leaving for a day or two this is a great option to have your cats be taken care of while your gone!
