Easy set up, just download an app, scan the QR and hook up to wifi. Design is sleek and sturdiness is there (I just wouldn't drop it). It is a little hard to take completely apart for cleaning, a few tiny screws have to be removed in a couple places. Once apart the parts are easy to clean and put back together once dry.

This works just like it says. The app has preset "values" 1-20 on how much food is released. 6 was "about" 1/4 cup for the cat food we use. I split my cats normal 2 feedings into multiple small feeds. Stops her from trying to eat it all at once, and throwing up. I can now sleep in on the weekends. And she isn't mad at me if I'm home late from work. Lid is tight and she can't knock it off. Was great when I went out of town for the weekend.

Find out if your cat loves you, or the fact that you feed it. I just installed mine, so I'm not sure yet. Easy way to set food amount is to take the amount of food you feed normally in a day and put it in the hopper. I put 2 scoops in, used the app to see how many manual feedings it took to empty the hopper, and divided by 6. I set the app to feed every 4 hours. I ran the test a few times and it feeds pretty much exactly the correct amount. I bought this one because I'm was able to record something at feeding time. At first I used the song "it's peanut butter jelly time" but that got old quick, so I just turned off the audio. Wasabi already stalks the feeder at feeding time, he knows by the sound of the food falling in the tray.

I can not add the portion to the schedule. In the instructions, it states it will appear right after you set the schedule time, which it doesn't. The word "Portion" never appears. Very frustrating. I even tried 2 different apps to get it to work-the PetTech and Smart Life apps. Neither app worked. I also get messages like "Permission denied" when I try to add in Schedule. And the instructions are so small, I have to use a magnifying glass to read. Any suggestions? I have multiple cats and I'm ready to send these back.Update-I requested help from vendor on Jan 4, 2025-no response. Amazon stated to request again if I didn't hear back by Jan 5. It's now Jan 10, no response from anyone.

My cat messes around with this and it just doesn’t hold up. It is very light, so he is able to push it around and has even knocked it over a few times. The bowl also isn’t very well attached so it comes apart all the time. If you have a cat who is curious and messes around with stuff, this will not hold up. It would be better if it had a heavier bass to help anchor it into place.
