Had this product for about a month now and so far I love the quality and works as it is intended too. It's easy to set up a feeding schedule and the dispensing is accurate (I use Orijen Small bites and it's perfect size) does not jam or over flow.Bought this as several attempts to try and make feeding time less stressful on myself and my rescue Shiba who was apparently attacked in the shelter during feeding time and developed a lot of PTSD and crazy quirks from it (sometimes he thiks his tail is another dog and he will attack it during meal times).I tried to feed him from a regular bowl but I have been bitten for getting too close and then he would follow me around as if i was a threat to his food and would try and eat it all. I then switched to a gravity bowl feeder which helped keep me out of the picture and was less stressful for both of us... issue was the food never ended and he was over eating an it now a bit chunky. I recently took him to the vet and learned he has a luxating patilla and a bit of arthritis in thag knee and that he had gained 3 lbs since I rescued him! He is not a bit dog and I felt bad so I bought this to get his weight down in hopes it would keep him from over eating. SO FAR SO GOOD! He no longer associates me with his food bowl, he no longer attacks his tail when he is full and then thinks his tail is going to eat it and so he forces himself to keep eating. He no linger guards uneaten food. I dont have the voice activation set up but the food despenses loud enough he just jumps up to go check it out and their is no anxieties attached it's been a huge relief. He now doesnt feel the need to guard the bowl of uneaten food from people or the cats because he is comfortable eating the serving and then it's gone. I'll have to give it more time before updating my review on Mako's progress because of the product. So happy i went out and bought the fountain water dish since the cats love to drink from the dogs gravity water bowl but they keep jamming it and making a mess when playing in the water. Comes Wednesday and I'll have to make a review on whether it's a better option for the cats who see to struggle finsing the water until they splash in it and see it move or despense.*Update* been a year and a half and the products have not had any issues and still work as intended. My dog knows when his food will despense... he is a medium sized Shiba and I buy the Orijen small bites and it's perfect. No more stressful meal times! The water dish is used by all 3 pets. My cats love it and so does my shiba. I do have to refill it everyday with 3 pets using it but I don't mind... just means the water is fresh. Worth the money.

I was skeptical. This is a new product... different than the packs of ice-style alternatives...you plug it in, and it's DONE! Fill it up - upwards of 3 meals - and you're good to go. There are three "sections" inside the machine that a 3-section plate sits atop. The cold plate underneath chills two of the three sections. The third, is the un-chilled area so the colder food can turn, then warm-up for 30 minutes before the door opens. Voila!You can program it each day, or just adhere to a schedule. It's completely customizable. OR, you can manually open the door via the app., then manually close it. Otherwise, you configure how long the door is open - feeding time - and even if your pet is still feeding, the sensors detect the small movement and will NOT close the door until it stops. We tested it for a few days, got him used to the "ding dong" bell and quiet click, whirr of the door opening, and now he knows those sounds mean FOOD!Dry food is easier... and a pet that won't wolf it all down in a second.. you don't need this. We can't dump a pile of food for our kitty and hope all works out. He'll simply gorge himself on it, throw up, and be miserable. No dry food... just wet... 1, 3oz can per section on the plate w/a bit of water added...done. He's a sloppy eater, so he manages to push food up and over the plate section...so...there are crumbs leftover. Big deal. VERY easy to clean. In fact, it's cleaner than the bowl and the usual mess he makes.So far, so great! We've only tested it for one meal at around 3pm when we're not around. The real test will be 2 or even 3...for the whole day - E.g. if we go to the beach, or something. We'd still have a sitter if we're gone overnight, but even then... the sitter can't come at certain hours, so...use this thing and they can arrive at normal times, leave, and he'll still be fed at the proper time. For us, that's 9am, 3pm, and 11pm.Not sure about chilling the third meal, because it'll be over the un-chilled section of the plate below... but... again, just make that the first feeding zone. He doesn't mind the machine...any noise - it's whisper-quiet - or how tall it is - he's used to eating lower to the floor.The transformer that plugs into the extension cord we set up...gets VERY warm. It's not hot enough to burn anything, but it's much warmer than expected. This is likely due to the energy required to run what is essentially a small refrigerator. So far, so great... and we are very thankful for the invention!

Lo compré para mi cachorro para cuando no estoy y le toca comer.Me costó un poco programarlo la primera vez pero una vez que le agarras el modo ya es muy fácil y rápido.La voz grabada suena alto y bien y al principio es muy útil hasta que el animal se acostumbra a usarlo.Estoy muy feliz con el alimentador.El único pero que le pongo es que tiene un tamaño fijo de croqueta y cuando mi cachorro cambié a alimento de adulto probablemente ya no me sirva.

Compré 2 para mis gatos porque por mi trabajo tengo que salir de casa algunos fines de semana. Los comederos automáticos funcionan de maravilla y son muy resistentes a los juegos dd mis gatos. En caso de que se lleguen a desconectar, éstos siguen funcionando con pilas y no dejan de alimentar a mis gatitos.
