These work very well. However, they work only for one attempt. When you try to use it again you do not get the proper tension to create the indent. What I do (maybe its not necessary with others) is to slightly unscrew the bottom half and then retighten after each use. That seems to reload it and it works fine. It is so much easier than using a hammer. I recommend this product

Works ok, at times it will not work until you rotate the punch a few time. This problem is not specific to just one punch in the pair, they both have this problem

I work in injection molding so I bought these to update our monthly date grid with a punch. I bought 2 packs and none of them have worked consistently. I had to open it and reset it just tonight between punching one cavity and the other cavity. Went to get a new one out of the box to see if it worked and maybe the last set was a fluke and it fell apart when I lifted it out of the pack. They do not hold together tight.

These work as intended and came at a great price. The machining is a little rough so you'll need to cycle them a few dozen times to break them in, but after that they're golden.I also noticed the spike fits the handle a little looser than I'd like, but that turned out to have no effect during use.
