This feeder was easy to set up and program and very quiet. I limit the amount of time the tank’s light is on and I use this feeder everyday to coincide with it. I had a small issue with it and the seller reached out and went out of their way to resolve it.

I will be away for more than a month holiday, this feeder will erase my worries for my 3 guppies. I use this even when I am home. I use the manual button to feed fish when I am home. I also use the ring provided to pool the floating pellets in one place.What I like abt this feeder is the extra latch on the dispenser. It helps preventing moisture forming on the hole. It has an adjustable latch to adjust the amount of foods dispense. I only have three guppies, I adjusted ut to the smallest gap possible. The amount is just right.

I an feeding my fish manually in the morning and using this for their dinner time feeding which we are not home on many occasions. This takes care of that worry for me. Could not be happier.

When these are on my 3 tanks the humidity makes the outlet flap stick shut. So they turn when they’re supposed to but the food can’t come out if the flap is stuck shut. I’ve tried different placements and different foods and nothing is working. They did work for the first few days. Also if you’re using small pellets (0.6mm) it’s about impossible for this thing to NOT over feed. I threw away the boxes so I can not return these. I had high hopes and am very disappointed.

The feeder rotates and when the door flops open (by gravity), whatever food is there waiting comes out. We have a rather large turtle, so it’s not that big of a deal if it gets a little more. I just hope that it doesn’t give it less. We got this feeder to be able to feed it while we go on vacation.It does have a nice feature of being able to feed in several intervals. We have it set up to every 48 hrs. There’s no time on it so you can set it for a particular time. For us, we pushed the button at 5 pm one day and then two days later it went again at 5 (and so on). If you want to do it at 8 am or something, you have to wait until 8 am and then push the feeder timer button. A little clunky of you ask me.Overall it’s just kind of meh.
