So I’ve had 5 Kreepy Krawlies throughout the decades and even repaired a few of them to make them last longer. I decided I’d try this at practically half the cost. It works fine. If you don’t mind working it a bit. But it got stuck in the corners and on the steps more than my KK. The pleat isn’t as secure as the KK as it would come off some times when I’d pull on the hose to take it out of the pool. It also doesn’t seem to scrub the surface as thoroughly, but admittedly that is a bit subjective on my part. Also, I noticed it requires more suction to activate. More like 3100 RPM rather than my GE KK at 2500 RPM. Also, it doesn’t come with the flow regulator. So I used one of my old KK ones. Lastly, the hoses don’t seem uniform. Some ends fit snug and some don’t so I had to alternate hoses in order to get them to fit right. At the end of the day I’m gonna go back to Kreepy Krawley on my next one. You get what you pay for.

If you are looking for a pool vacuum that is going to make you a five course meal this is most define you...not it. This vacuum is worth the money if you aren’t trying to break the bank. It comes with quite a bit of hose but I recommend if you have a medium to large size in ground pool that you get some more hose. I found that it cleans much more effectively if you assist it on its blind pool cleaning mission. This is simply an expensive vacuum head that follows the hose as your pump does it’s cleaning cycle. Five stars would be for a vacuum that worked a little more productively and this vacuum is much more productive under supervision.

this is really good cleaner little on the noisy side but after playing with the variable pump setting to have higher rpm suction is really good and can manage small leaves and debris and climbs the walls in 18,000 gals free form pool...sometime gets caught up on the steps performance is excellent for the price in use for a month now .

Purchased in June 2018. I put this cleaner in my pool and within 4 weeks it got stuck in a corner and actually scraped the paint off the pool. I wonder what it will cost to drain the pool and fix that? I was not very happy but figured the damage was already done so I adjusted the suction by restricting the flow, seemed to work better but then it stopped moving. Got it working again by shaking it, then it stopped working again. It's my own fault for trying to go cheap. This think is junk.
