At one month in, the ends at each of the segments in the segmented hose started breaking off, one at a time until the hose was too short to reach all points in the pool. Perhaps not UV stabilized??? Dunno.Unfortunately, when we tried a standard hose, the vacuum would slowly tangle up in itself, as it apparently requires the spinning joints in the segmented hose to prevent it from coiling up on itself. As such, the vacuum is now effectively useless, since I can't use it and have to vacuum by hand. I found no way of contacting the seller or manufacturer for resolution.

Worked ok for a while. I replaced the diaphragm, and worked OK for another few months. Constantly unscrews itself. Finally died after 1 year of service.

Every 2 weeks or so, the ring that screws on to keep it together works itself loose and causes it to separate. The yellow suction end then gets sucked to the bottom of the pool. It's going to end up burning out my pool pump motor!

This pool vacuum is just as good as the more expensive ones. I am very happy with how it is working. I have used it a few times without any issues.
