Nice quality, sturdy and clean looking. The top opens quickly and gives you enough time but not too much before automatically closing. I really like them. I got three and glad I did.

I have been needing a small trashcan with a lid on it around my workspace at home. Between my son and my cats, they are always putting things that don't belong in the trash, or they take things out that shouldn't be taken out. I just need a small trashcan, and came across this so I thought I would give it a try. I really like the fact that it has the sensor option so that you don't have to touch the trash can to actually be able to throw something away. With that said, I am also glad that there is a sensor control switch, because some days I have a tendency to move my arm over the trash can's sensor area and it will open and close so many times unnecessarily. It is easy to use the trash can without the sensor on to automatically open it for you, as well. The trash bags are hidden and makes the trash can more "decorative" than other trashcans where you can see the bag and all of the contents inside the trash can. The sensor switch does have an area that requires 4 AA batteries. I have had this trash can for a little over a month so far, with using it daily and have not had to replace the batteries yet. So it is doing a pretty decent job at using the battery power efficiently.

Even after watching videos of this trashcan in action, I was skeptical, but I'm delighted to say that it works like a charm! I marveled (because I can be a bit dramatic) when it magically sucked the liner bag up against the sides of the can! It's amazing how much more space that gives compared to having the liner loose and "un-inflated", so to speak. I wish the auto-open trashcan in my kitchen had this feature.It looks nice in my bathroom because its sleek modern shape and white color blend in well with any decor. I have a white fabric shower curtain, so the two look very nice together.The lid opens and closes smoothly with just the motion of a hand or knee (no bending!) but it doesn't trigger every time you walk past it. I love the blue lights on top that flash for a few seconds when the lid is activated, and turn off when the lid closes. They aren't necessarily needed, but they sure add a bit of fun.The thick plastic is smooth to the touch with a durable build. I've only used it for a couple weeks so I don't have a clue about how long the four AA batteries will last, but if it seems unreasonable, I'll update this review. I used new ones that aren't rechargeable, but I would think reachable would work, but I can't say for sure.I haven't figured out how to put the plastic liner in without it showing on the outside, under the top. A roll of black bags are included, but after I run out of them, I'll buy clear or white bags so they won't show like black ones do. This is actually the only minor complaint I have, and because I love everything else, I highly recommend this motion sensor trashcan.

What’s not to love about this? I love all the features.The trash can was super easy and simple to put together. The motion sensor is awesome and the lid closes softly which is amazing. It is super functional and keeps any odors in. It also suctions the bag in once the bag is changed and the top is placed back on-LOVE THAT!It is large enough to fit so much and gives you ample space to throw a bunch of things away while not having to empty it daily.
