Your cart is empty. The inline ATF automatic transmission fluid filter keeps contaminants out of the transmission fluid.
Most of the time replacing a transmission filter is spent removing the transmission pan and draining the fluid, it's not a difficult process.
If you are comfortable with removing the pan, popping out the old filter and installing a new filter, and then using the correct pan gasket to reseal the transmission.

This is an overlooked part that needs to be replaced. It was quality and sold at a great price and I couldn’t be happier with this product. I am sure this one will last quite a few years, but as mentioned should be changed as according to manufacturer specifications and people always overlook this. We had our CRV at the transmission shop for a transmission fluid leak. We were told we needed all brand new lines in a cooler upfront at a cost of $2000. The car towed back home pressure washed everything underneath and found this transmission filter. Located in the front of the car on the crossmember had a rust hole in it and was spraying transmission fluid everywhere and that was all that was wrong. I replaced this part in about one hour and transmission fluid specifically Honda fluid and back on the road for under $50. Thanks to Amazon and their great pricing. I would definitely recommend this part to anybody as they do rust out and can get clogged with transmission gunk, and even leak like mine in the worst case !

This filter is compatible with my 2010 Honda Insight. While the replacement is pretty straightforward, the hose clamps and bolts can be tough. When comparing the old filter with this new one, I noticed that the new one is a bit wider in diameter. Not sure if it was a redesign or meant for other models of this generation like the Civic, but it did require more force mounting the filter to the metal clamps.Also, unlike the Civic, this filter for the Insight is on the bottom right in front of the radiator instead of on the top behind the air box. I wish I looked at the repair manual instead of removing the air box and seeing no filter.

What can I say....it works. I just had a hard time getting to the location to change it. Otherwise, it would be an easy installation.
