Worked perfectly to measure DC current. I haven't tried to measure AC yet. Very simple to use and feels quite robust.

This device does not work. It's not possible to submit a review with less than one star.They will refund your money if you go through the trouble of going through customer service. They will also tell you they do not want the item back.

I was disappointed in thos purchase. I had for a while before putting it through the paces, and it went kaput damn near right away. It shorted out on a voltage test I was doing on an alternator. Perhaps it was a faulty one that made it pass. I couldn't return it because like I said it sat in the rollaway for a bit before I had a chance to use it.

Long Standing Major Brand Instrumentation companies sell the "SAME" meter rebranded with their name for 3-times the price. I am a very experienced Electrical Engineer and HVAC Contractor. These meters will serve you well.

I plugged this in to a Fluke 88V Deluxe Automotive Multimeter and set it to RPM. I started my 2019 Dodge Challenger. With engine at a nice smooth idle, the RPM's were all over the place! I set "Min/Max" and the RPMS were recorded at 678-1103. I tried flipping the tool away from the spark plug, I placed it on the boot, next to the boot, all the way down the spark plug cable, near the coil pack and nothing changed. I separated the spark plug cable so there would not be any Cross Fire on the cables. I tried several cables and they all did the same thing. This is a highly inaccurate tool. I tried to return it as defective, the seller does not allow it. I had to go through the "Help" button at the bottom of the Amazon page. I used the chat window and had it resolved in a few minutes with a refund and I didn't have to return the product. GARBAGE!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
