This Automotive Smoke Machine is really simple and easy to use. You can use this thing to test for vacuum leaks and rubber hose failures in engines and vehicles. Once you’ve located, found the problem and tried to fix it, you can check the fix with the air compressor to see if your fix will hold when pressure is set to it. Some of these smoke machines do not have the air compressor. It is not going to be one you can air up your tires with, but that’s not what it’s made for. This one is light weight and on the smaller size, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in your garage. Which for me, space is a premium. Overall, I’m very happy with it and glad to have it.

Its a tad odd, but once you get it connected and setup properly is functions as intended and is an excellent troublshooting tool that allows you to check everything even when the unit is shut down reducing heat exposure.

The smoke machine is easy to use, but it is hard to tell how much oil to put in, ended up overfilling it.

Every mechanic needs one of these in order to diagnose even have systems or vacuum systems properly. It has very thick smoke and operates with alligator clips from any car battery. It took me seconds to find several leaks on one vehicle as a mechanic I couldn't ask for more to save time and money and resources to fix other peoples cars. I strongly believe that every mechanic who says they are and Mechanic should have one of these in their arsenal of tools.
