Chose these because of 'internal' fan. My headlight assemblies are gigantic, so dissipating heat through front plastic isn't an issue. External fan would have interfered with installation. These were EXACTLY plug and play. No whining noise from exterior fan. Look factory when viewed from outside (can't see elements anyway). Only downside is bluish tint of light, but still above and beyond the "less safe" "less visible" dimmer and yellowed color of halogen, even from the Silver Stars. Much safer due to brightness and (perceived) clarity. In last 2 years, I have had to replaceme the halogens twice. If I can get 4 years out of these, the price will be cheaper than incandescent.Works well for me, now in use about a month. They are not quite the same as Sylvania Silver Star regarding focus / beam pattern, but are doing well. High Beams are higher than expected, but due to brightness at low, pretty much leave headlamps on low beam now.

Got these Bulbs for my Audi a4 and they fit in there perfectly plug and play, nice and bright too and white instead of the old yellow lights ill be sticking with these for a while!

Easy installation. Light is bright and clear. Installed on an 2008 F150 King Ranch. AUTOONE states "Cambus Ready" which is true. I do not get any codes but I did lose functionality of my fog/driving lights because the ECU's interpretation of the resistance difference. As with most car manufacturers, the ECU does not permit running high beams and the fog/driving lights at the same time. Because of the LED resistance, when lights are on low beam and I turn on the fog/driving lights, the high beams come on. There is no way to use the fog/driving lights. I could try adding different balance resistors to see if I can come up with the right combination to make them function correctly but I don't generally use the fog/driving lights. Maybe one day on a bored day, I may tinker but right now I'm good with the way it is and the better lighting.

Put these in my 2011 Mini Cooper base. I ended up installing one of them upside down, as there really is no marking to place it right - easy enough to fix once you know what you are doing. As many have said, they do flicker for 6-9 seconds once turned on, and there is an alert on the dash that says you have a headlight out, but that goes away I am guessing once the on-board computer reads the bulb. Something to easily get used to. And the light is way cleaner and brighter than the Sylvanias that were replaced. As for durability, I guess we'll see.

I ordered two different times and the first time 1 headlight was a low beam and the other was a high beam. I returned and got another and this time both of them were always high beams so I’ve been having to drive with my brights on now so I can use the low beams
