Protect the Original Tailpipe
- No need to replace any parts, direct protects the surface of original exhaust pipe from sun and rain to prevent rusting.
- Besides, the exhaust tip would keep something out of tailpipe, such as dust, water or rocks.
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Clean the Surface of Tailpipe
- Clean the dirt and sand on your tailpipe with penetrating oil and a shop rag.
- Make sure your tailpipe is at room temperature, and do not clean the surface of the tailpipe after the car just went out
Step 2: Putting the Exhaust Tip On
- Unscrew the screws, and then slide the exhaust tip into the tailpipe.
- When sliding, you may encounter some resistance. If necessary, use automotive grease to lubricate the pieces.
Step 3: Fasten with M8 Allen Key
- Secure the exhaust tip by tightening screws or clamps. Extra welding will be a good safeguard if you think it's not tightened enough.
- Installation is completed.

I highly recommend this tip. It took me a little while to install because I had to cut off 12" of excess pipe to get it placed where I wanted and I didn't have a good cutting tool. The price can't be beat when it comes to the quality of this tip. It's packaged well and fits over the pipe (5") very well and snug. When you tighten it down, it's not going to fall off. made a world of difference to the sound of the vehicle. Made it have more of a grumble when you put your foot into it, but it's nice when just driving. Looks great when you got it polished up, but looks just as good when it gets dirty. If you want a 7" tip (perfect size in my opinion, paired to a 5" exhaust) this is the tip for you. I recommend this 110% and absolutely love it!

This looks amazing but struggled to get it on. The welding needed to be ground down a bit. There was huge weld beads in one spot. Once this was taken down it fit perfect and looks amazing.

This is perfectIt’s actually pretty decent qualityDitched my 6 inch Mbrp tip for this lovely 8 inch tip on my DuramaxMakes a HUGE difference in looks. Truck is lifted 6 inches wide stance on wide 35s and its the perfect size tip for that look. It is not axle dumped, factory exit location.If you’re at 7ish inches of lift or larger I’d recommend the 10 inch tip for an axle dump10/10 highly recommend

Gave a four star because when trying to install Chrome tip the weld on the sleeve had to be ground down on the inside in order to slide pipe on!

Looked great on my 05 f350, sounds nice and installation was easy. You may have to cut the exhaust for your application so it does not stick out to far but this is normal with all exhaust tips

Tip has a nice finish, only downside was I had to grind down the Weld on the inside for it to fit over the pipe. Happy with the fitment after that!
