This unit works really great. Able to connect my sound bar assembly and fiber optic headset to my TV. Highly recommend. Easy connect and operate. Older TV I use fiber optic connection, I had to program the TV to not use the internal speakers. This particular TV gave a choice between internal and fiber, but not both. Love the splitter.

I tried using it to connect my TV to a soundbar and a headset. Neither worked with the splitter, but both worked without it.

In use for a week. So far, so good. Allows me to connect a bluetooth transmitter to my semi- start tv (actually it's smarter than I am) and also to run my sound bar on the optic cable. This cuts down on the lag between video and audio on the screen. It is basically plug and play but does require a power supply. So far, I am very satisfied.

Needed to have two audio out signals for my tv - one for the sound bar and another for in ceiling speakers. This did what I wanted.

This splitter worked for my need to split the audio optical signal from a PC to (a) an optical input for pc speakers and (b) an optical converter to analog that was going to another set of pc speakers. I tried several non-ac powered splitters on amazon before getting this one and all I heard was static noise. It must be the ac power helping to keep the signal strong. 5 stars for solving my problem.
