My arthritis and hip-replacement (that didn't go so perfectly), both cause me a lot of pain when sitting. As a result, I've become a connoisseur of cushions at near age 78. I therefore ordered TWO different chair cushions at the same time, figuring one would be superior...and this is the WINNER!As seen in the photos, this one covers our large dining room chairs front-to-back and side-to-side. It's "fat" and plump looking, the filling is perfectly smooth memory foam that doesn't "squish" flat but provides just-firm-enough support. I measured the size myself at 17"X16" with the center hole at 6"X5". No skimping here. The covering has a premium texture, no wrinkles, and it's removable.Unlike many products today, this pillow is made proudly enough to bear a brand-name tag, and even a guarantee, with the manufacturer's address and customer service phone number. OK, it's overseas, but the other cushion had none of this. No label, guarantee, or contact info. Both came tightly wrapped in plastic, squeezed to minimize volume. Always let a product like this "breath" for a day to return to full size. Amazon delivery was perfect as always.Well, I intended to use it, there at all our meals. But I made the mistake of inviting my wife to try it. "OOOH, this is NICE!" was her first reaction. She had always hated our dollar-store cloth cushions, which get rips in them with time. Then she added, "I LIKE this! I want to USE it!" So it's now hers. Happy wife, happy life!Summary: This AUVON pillow cushion beat the smaller no-name (literally) chair cushion in every regard. It's a pleasure to recommend a quality product made with pride, such as this one!

This tailbone pillow is made from memory foam, so squishy but supportive. It's nice, but tough to use anywhere but in a chair or office chair, because it's somewhat stiff and sits high. But it is helpful. It's essentially a non-slip donut pillow, ergonomically shaped for butt/back comfort. I have degenerative disease in my lumbar spine (lower back), and the pillow takes some of the pressure off my spine when I sit, providing much needed relief when I'm having a flare-up. There are, of course, many other reasons you might need a comfort pillow, including surgeries, hemorrhoids, after birth, etc that would leave your backside in a world of hurt. The pillow is compact and light enough to easily transport from room to room or to take when traveling. I believe the Auvon pillow is a good value, and I recommend.

However, without explicit guidance, users are left to figure out whether their tailbone should align precisely with the U-shaped gap or whether another position is better for them.The two-tone design depicted in the product image—black and white—might confuse at first, but on closer inspection, the white layer simply highlights the material beneath the black outer surface. It’s a design choice that doesn’t affect usability but might lead to unnecessary second-guessing about the product’s construction.The memory foam feels comfortable so far, with a promising blend of softness and support. Whether it delivers long-term relief remains to be seen, but the price and features make it worth exploring for anyone dealing with discomfort from prolonged sitting. Some users have them in every room with a stationary chair or sofa - and in their cars.

This product is solid and good but hard enough to be uncomfortable. It is not something I can use for an 8 hour day at my computer but it has helped with my tail bone pain.

I am in love with these donut pillows. They make me able to actually sit down on the couch without being in terrible pain. I cannot sit without a donut pillow for very long so I am very thankful for being able to have this one. I’m so happy that this was online.This donut pillow is made of memory foam that has balanced support so that it is soft, yet firm and supportive. Perfect combination for most any ailment that concerns the bottom half of a body. I’m particularly impressed that this donut pillow has a cutout design for my tailbone relief. There is also a central hole that will lesson the pain if I ever need that kind of relief. There is however a slope design that promotes pressure relief on my thighs. This is a super important and impressive donut pillow when your tail bone is not always behaving.I’m glad that there is a breathable fabric/memory foam with this donut. Without the breathable fabric/memory foam it would be too hard to sit on. Plus it’s good that the pillow can air itself out with the fabric and foam that this donut is made of. There is even a cover over the donut that can be accessed through the zipper that faces towards the U-shaped cutout design. The memory foam cannot be washed so that’s why I keep a standard size pillowcase over the exterior cover of the donut.Lastly, I appreciate the price that this donut is available for. This makes the donut pillow accessible for so many people who need it so badly. I know that sitting would be very difficult for me without this pillow.
