It offers a choice of 3 water temperatures. The easy-to-use push button spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press the temperature button of choice and allow the water to flow from the given spout. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we've added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. We have incorporated a nightlight that can be switched on from the back of the unit. This will make filling up your cup at night so much more simple and easy. The dispensing area is 12x3x10 inches with 9 inches of space below the spouts. This will accommodate most large cups or bottles. There is a removable drip tray at the bottom of the dispensing area to catch any drips or spills. This water cooler is bottom loading with a cabinet to hold 3 or 5 gallon bottles. The water is pumped from the bottle through the machine. We have incorporated a self-clean ozone function which will automatically clean the machine's water tank with the injection of ozone by the press of a switch. There is also an empty-bottle indicator that will light up when the bottle needs to be replaced. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star. The unit dimensions are 41x12x13 inches.

Shipping by UPS was 3 days sooner than expected but UPS needs to be more careful with consumers orders. Box was damaged with large hole and crushed corner, but contents were fine. Cooler is sleek looking, and water is very hot. I did a finger test on hot water and OUCH. Be careful. The child safety latch on the hot water button was well thought out. Setup was very easy. Cold water is cold but doesn't seem to be as cold as my gallon jug in the fridge. I read reviews on everything before I buy it and bought this based on the good reviews on Avalon's customer support and their reputation of repairing or replacing a defective or damaged product. The cooler cabinet could be a little taller but is fine the way it is. Avalon sells a 10-inch plastic molded base for the cabinet but at a little over $70 with tax and shipping that's somewhat pricey. I will be using some scrap 2x6, sanding, staining, and varnish then attach my base to the bottom of cooler. As far as the very few bad reviews. People need to understand that anything manmade is subject to fail and at some point, and it will. If it is bad right out of the box or 6 months down the road it appears that Avalon will make it right. I'm impressed with the looks and functionality of this cooler and giving a 5 Star rating , higher if I could. I recomend this product to anyone.

Loading from the bottom makes it a lot easier for anybody to fill this dispenser vs. top-loading varieties. There's a little plastic bottle cap with a long metal pump rod that pumps water from the jug, loaded in the bottom of the dispenser, into the upper reservoir.I have no use for hot water on demand, but thankfully you can disable it, and there's a safety button on the hot water lever to prevent someone from accidentally dispensing any.The LED lights indicate if cleaning is underway, if refrigerating is currently happening, and if the bottle is at or near the end of its water.

Beware of a problem with their thermostat. They only last over a year and then it completely freezes, leaving water dispenser unusable. Company knows about the ongoing issue as you can see in prior reviews. Yet offer no help for their faulty parts. They look nice but are not worth the headache as I am now out of a water dispenser in just over 1 year. I do not recommend

As someone who LOVES cold water, and living in a city with our quality trap water, this purchase is easily my favorite. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and quiet! We haven't used the hot water feature very much yet as it's the hottest part of the summer, but the cold water option is tested regularly. You can turn off the hot and cold features individually. It takes about a half hour or so for the hot water to get hot enough for noodle soup, and about the same for the cold water to get cold. Once the "change soon" light comes on, we can usually get another 3 or 4 cups of water through the cold tap, but it's room temp at that point.Also, it's nice and quiet. It did in our living room next to the recliner, and we barely hear it working. We've had it for about 2 months, and still loving it.

So let me start with the obvious this bottom loader is a game changer no more lifting 5 gallon jugs Now its a simple slide in bottom compartment, this is huge. Also with old top loader looking at the bottle day in and day out kept reminding me of the office water cooler who needs thatThe look is smooth and contemporary (I ordered Black) looks like a piece of furniture not a water cooler The top is flat and you can put flowers pictures or another decoration you may wish that fits your style .Now for the people who complain about it being noisy... well when its in "suction" mode necessary due to its bottom feed, it makes noise for about 10 seconds maybe a few more seconds depending on how big of a container you are filling but honestly it is quiet 98% of the time I have never owned a watercooler that didn't make noise in cooling mode I was concerned when i read the reviews complaining about noise but honestly i did not find that to be remotely trueIt has a light to remind you to change the bottle and that literally takes 20 seconds and a constant cleaning (ozone) modeI love this purchase so far and would recommend without hesitation

I've owned 2 of these - here's the scoop - for about 16 months - it works great! But then one day, no water comes out - because it's frozen over. Sure, you can unplug it and defrost it, but it will freeze over again a day later. The warranty is only good for 1 year. So if you think the price is good as a yearly expense, then go for it! You'll love it while it works, but if you want something that's going to last more than 16 months - you should look elsewhere.

The first unit I ordered looked great, unpacked it, set it up, installed water bottle and immediately water ran out onto the floor. Some investigating revealed that the outlet elbow to the fill tank was broken off the pump. Contacted Amazon and they IMMEDIATELY made it right. Scheduled pick-up from my house and had new one delivered 3 days later.I will say, the 2nd unit was packed the same except it came in an additional box. The first unit did not look to be repackaged, but the unit was not packed in any additional boxing.I am a little bummed that the in bottle water suction straw is not the same. The 1st one had an offset metal straw, the 2nd one has a straight plastic one. Not a deal breaker. So far, seems to be working perfectly. NIce and quiet, keeps water nice and cold, hot works fine. I'm hoping it will last several years.

It was well packaged and arrived on time and without damage. It works very well and is quiet. Our old bottom bottle cooler was so much noisier. The black stainless matches our appliances very well. Very happy with this cooler.

The thing started pouring water all over my floor. I opened the main chamber it had cut wires and disconnections I couldn’t fix. Absolute garbage. Don’t waste your $500 on this dollar store item. Returning it. Will try one more time to see if it was a one off. If it was I’ll edit my review. It’s taken a month for me to even get my refund which is infuriating. To be continued…Okay so, I’m pretty sure the first one they sent us was a return (understandably, it was garbage). None of the individual parts had been wrapped, the box was damaged, and obviously it was very broken. Upon receiving the refund (which took a FULL MONTH btw, heads up), we decided to give this cooler one more change. This one came in a pristine box that was shrink wrapped, the whole thing had all its individual parts wrapped (the drip tray was wrapped and in the box, whereas the first one it was loose in the chamber where the water goes. The tube that goes in the water was wrapped). And it runs like a dream! Super cold and hot water, virtually soundless (some slight vibrational sounds when refilling the chamber after use). Sleek and small. I’m really glad we decided to give this one more chance! I’m not impressed we were sent a return the first time, so I’m still not super happy with the company, but I am happy with the product now that we’ve received a functional one.

The cold water is cold, the hot water is hot and it's silent when it's running to adjust the temperatures. I like that it flashes when you need to refill. I've only had it for a little less than 2 months but we've had no issues yet.
