I purchased this product because I have had people walk into my hallway from the front porch thinking it was an apartment, when infact it leads to my door upstairs that doesn't stay shut. Setting it up was extremely easy, screwed it into the wall near my thermostat and put the doorbell right next to my door. I also bought a "Ring the bell" sign on amazon, perfect little bundle I just screwed it into the wall on the porch and babam, can't miss it. I bought this over a month ago, still working perfectly and it has been used many many times. I even had an officer ring my bell at 4 AM because I left my car door open, quite useful.One of the standout features of this doorbell is its incredible range. With a range of 1000 feet it allows you to pick the perfect spot within your household so when the bell is rung you'll hear it.The 52 melodies to choose from are another great feature of this doorbell. I love the fact that when Christmas comes around I can change it to a Christmas theme, and there are many more to choose from. The sound is quite crisp and clear.Another aspect of this doorbell that I appreciate is the 5 volume levels. Whether I am in a quiet room or a noisy environment, I can adjust the volume to ensure that I hear the chime without it being too loud or disruptive.Plus, the fact that this doorbell is waterproof and battery-operated makes it incredibly versatile and easy to use. I can install it anywhere without worrying about wiring or the weather damaging it.Also I purchased this on February 23rd, 2023 and I have yet to change the batteries, and it is used quite often with the neighbor's kids and other people. I have yet to have any issues, and if I do I will update the review.Overall I highly recommend this product it is extremely handy, cheap, has good battery life, easy to setup, waterproof and easy to use.Edit 6/23/2023; Doorbell still works fine without having to change the battery to this day. And again, the neighbors kid's ring the bell at least once or twice per day.Edit 7/29/2023; Doorbell still works fine, haven't needed to change the battery on the doorbell button or sound device.Edit 11/14/2023; Doorbell still works fine.Edit 12/08/2023; Doorbell still works well, it has been nearly 10 months and the battery has not needed to be changed. It is used 1-4 times a day.Edit 3/18/2024; Still working great without a battery change yet.Edit 4/22/2024; Had to change the battery today, lasted quite awhile. I only needed to get 3 new triple A battery’s for the device that plays the sound, not the doorbell button. The doorbell button is still going strong. Overall great product.Edit 11/29/2024; Doorbell still works great, only changed the batteries once total which I mentioned in my last edit. Still haven't needed to change the battery in the actual doorbell button. After over a year and a half of reliable use I highly recommend this product. It has survived cold New Hampshire winters and hot summers, still going strong.

Like that it has so many different sounds it can make. The black color really stands out for being obvious against a tan backdrop of siding. Very easy to setup also. Nice to set indoor piece wherever you choose also !

My purpose for acquiring this was for it to function as a pager, sort of like a medical alert but local (not to some call center) and vastly less expensive. A medical situation in the household makes it necessary for me to be available right away at need, which is not easy if I am in another part of the house or in the yard when the need arises. Of course, I could be alerted on a cell phone, but pushing a button is faster and less demanding than messing with a phone.This supposedly has a range of 1,000 feet (undoubtedly, this would require transmitter and receiver being in the clear). I didn't check that, but I did go to the far corner of our fairly large back yard and found that the unit works fine from a distance of more than 150 feet through walls, etc. Something else vital for my purposes is that the base unit, the receiver with the selectable chimes, buzzes, etc., is battery-powered and not a/c powered. As a doorbell, a/c would be fine, but it would be a true hassle to need to drag an extension cord all over the yard. Three AAA batteries do the job.Three challenges, which together take one star from the five I would have given this otherwise:(1) The three "GoldenPower" Chinese AAA batteries supplied for the base unit were total duds. None of the three registered any juice at all with a battery tester--none. I would suggest that the manufacturers of these batteries leave cookies and milk at the tomb of Chairman Mao to see if that will improve their product.(2) Here is one instruction in the "User Manual": "Before first use, gently pry open the rear cover of the transmitter and peel off the seal on the button cell [included]." The problem here is that in the product illustrations and part labeling, there is no indication of such a "rear cover," nor is anything said concerning how to "gently pry" it open. Because this product is not robust in its structure (it also is not flimsy, just adequate), be extremely careful with the prying so nothing is damaged or fractured.(3) The volume control indeed steps the volume from silence to four increments of loudness, but within too narrow a range.

I ordered this for my kids playhouse outside since it did not require an electrical outlet. It is loud and reaches pretty far. It works great and has been exposed to freezing and rainy temps and has shown to be of good quality.

My wired doorbell quit working for the second time so I bought this.Love the ease of installing this one and the great choices of tunes that you can choose for doorbell chime.Highly recommend!

Comprato per chiamata notturna anziani, si sente bene, ottima portata, comodo il tasto per la chiamata che essendo abbastanza grande è facile da usare anche per anziani appoggiato sul comodino. Troppe suonerie e volume che potrebbe avere anche un livello al minimo più basso, ma nel complesso va benissimo. Lo consiglierei anche come campanello portatile, dato che il ricevitore è a batterie e quindi trasportabile ovunque.
