The last time the batteries died in my doorbell when I went to replace it on the back plate, three out of the four little nubs used to attach were all broken off. After looking at a bunch of different replacements, chose this one based off of the reviews and it fit and works perfectly! Easy to install. I don't have any idea on how long this one will last compared to the factory backplate that came with the doorbell, hopefully longer than that one though! And even if it doesn't, it does come with 2 backplates so you have a backup one just in case.

That back panel on blink’s door bell is terrible. The tabs easily break if you don’t remember exactly how to remove. This is a perfect replacement, installs just as easily as the blink version. Once installed, you can’t even tell that this one is a 3rd party. Looks and feels good.

These things break from not using the tool to properly remove the camera from the wall holder. This is an exact duplicate and restored usefulness of the camera.

This works very well. Our blink fits perfectly. It is a little flexible so if installing on siding you have to put it on just right or the door bell will fall off.

My original base plate stopped working the inside bell for an unknown reason at first. Once I removed the doorbell I saw a number of the mounting clips were broken. I believe it may had happened when I installed an angled spacer later. It apparently wasn't making proper contact with the activation points. Ordered this (2) piece kit (received material as pictured in the ad to include gaskets), replaced the base, mounted the doorbell and all is good in Blink doorbell land. Now I have a spare in case this happens again.

Unfortunately these are flimsy and my original one broke while changing the batteries, i ordered these to replace it and has held up great!

Every time I replace the battery I forgot how to remove the Blink doorbell camera after inserting the pin... because after inserting the loosely fitted pin it does nothing... it isn't like you feel a click and it unlocks the blink doorbell from the backplate, nooooo you wiggle it and wiggle it.... and nothing.... then you look it up on the internet, push in... and lever it upwards..... crack.... or once the whole blink doorbell goes flying!! I am fairly sure that this design with tiny hook pins are intentional because why else do we have this product... Blink Doorbell Backplate Replacement, Back Plate Part Compatible with Blink Vi... not sure if I should stock up because I think we need a few boxes of these backplates lying around just in case we break the back plate with every change of the batteries. Anyways I had been taping my blink doorbell onto the frame with moving tape for the last year or so and now with the purchase of the Blink Doorbell Backplate Replacement, Back Plate Part Compatible with Blink Vi, once again my Blink Doorbell is installed correctly without tape. PS. If you own the angular blink mount the middle mounting screws to the angular mount are different as I dropped the screw and I thought no problem I got some new screws in the box, but no, they are different. So half hour later I finally found the angular mount screw, thank goodness as I was thinking another year of tape mounted blink doorbell. Anyways this product Blink Doorbell Backplate Replacement, Back Plate Part Compatible with Blink Vi is a valuable product that goes hand in hand with the blink doorbell and I am glad that I found it.

Was nervous that the doorbell wouldn't fit properly as it didn't match the original *exactly*. But it actually held it well with no hassle! Installation was pretty easy. Took me less than 5 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver. Happy there's a second one too in case a replacement is needed later on.
