I used this to replace an older wireless doorbell. Main reasons for replacing the older unit were that it was not really loud enough, and had only one chime unit. The new one I ordered came with two chime units.I plugged in one of the chime units high on a balconyl above some picture frames, and followed the instructions to enable the battery on the doorbell button. When I pressed the button, I immediately heard the traditional "ding-dong" sound from the chime at a perfect volume level. I may experiment with other sounds, but this is the one I am used to. Later I moved this receiver to a Bluetti EP500 in the kitchen which keeps my refrigerator running during power outages (in the picture, the chime is hidden behind an orange extension cord).I then plugged in the second chime in the basement, where it is hard to hear the first one. It also responded to the doorbell without needing any further adjustment.The only slight inconvenience was that button did not have pre-drilled holes for mounting, and I preferred to mount it with screws. But that was easily solved with an electric drill. Although that could be a drawback, I don't consider it serious enough to affect the overall rating since an adhesive mounting is also provided.To enable the doorbell to work during a power outage, I plugged one of the receivers into a Bluetti EP500 which also powers my refrigerator. In the picture, it is partly hidden behind an orange extension cord.

This doorbell was super easy to set up, volume control is great, and having two receivers is really nice.

This product is well designed & is easy to install. I chose the 2 doorbell model, & it was simple to select which chime I wanted for each door. There is large selection of tones, some louder than others, so you will find several that you like. I like that it was well made but inexpensive, it has held up well through lots of weather, & the buttons are large & easy to find in any lighting. The power unit is also compact. I am really happy with my purchase.

These doorbells work well and are really easy to set up (the hardest part is picking which chime to use). There are a ton of options, each doorbell can be set to a different chime, and the volume gets loud enough to hear from several rooms away if you need it to.I ordered this specific set because I have a large house with a front and back door that are both commonly used. The biggest benefit to these is the ability to set them each to a different sound. Now, when I hear the chimes, I know exactly which door to run to. My house didn't come wired for bells so I knew wireless was the easiest option and these were some of the least visually obnoxious that I could find. Many of the doorbells that I saw while shopping appear designed for alien spaceships with lights and weird shapes. These are just noticeable enough that people realize you have a doorbell.I really wish that AVANTEK would offer a set of two remotes with a battery operated receiver. I was torn, when ordering, between this set or just getting two battery operated single remote and receiver sets. I went with this one as it was the more economical option, but I’ve regretted it. The issue that I have run into with this set is that having it plugged in all the time means that it gets in the way. I wish I had the option to put the receiver somewhere truly out of the way. Additionally, the chimes aren’t always remembered. When the receiver was unplugged to move it from one outlet to another after initial programming, it forgot the chimes that were programmed for both doorbells. Although, later, the receiver was bumped and knocked out of the outlet and when plugged back in, it still remembered the chimes. A final time, the power went out for over an hour and when it came back on, the chimes were still remembered. So it seems to be fairly hit or miss. Another consideration is that when the power goes out, your doorbell won’t work. While this is true of wired doorbells too, the battery powered options don’t have this concern. If you live in an area where you have common power outages you probably want to consider looking elsewhere if you plan on having visitors during storms.One final note, is that after having these up for over a month, one of the remotes has begun to yellow slightly. This particular remote gets full sun for about half of the day and has been rained on an awful lot. I’m not too upset about it considering the conditions that it sits in, but it’s something to keep in mind. The other remote, which is placed on a door that’s covered by a roof, hasn’t yellowed at all.Overall, I would recommend this wireless doorbell set as a great, affordable option that doesn’t draw too much attention to itself. If you’re not on a strict budget or if you live in a home with limited outlets, I would recommend spending a little more for the battery powered option.

Wow! I love it. Received it today and installed it right away. It's very easy to install, and setup. Instructions are clear and simple. I like the variety of sounds. Wish there was an easier way of selecting tone instead of having to skip and hear each one. Some of them are obnoxious in my opinion, I mean who wants a pig oinking?? But anyways, the reason I chose this over other wireless doorbells is pretty much because description stated that each doorbell could be set to a different tone. I'm using one for the front door and one for the back. I used the adhesive that comes with, to start. I don't know how long it'll hold but before drilling and making holes I want to make sure that it'll work fine and that the spot for it is right. Honestly I recommend. My house isn't too big, but sometimes while watching tv we can't hear people knocking at the door so this will be a little extra help. Like I said, setup and installation was super quick and easy. It offers 52 tones, some of them are nice melodies some are animals and wacky sounds. I like that I can distinguish which door people are calling from . Adjustable volume and tone can be switched very easy also. It was a good price, I just hope it lasts.

I can't believe that they can actually manufacture and sell a product with this high quality for such a low price!

Perfect idea and sound choices

Bought this for my house, and am pleased. The receivers that plug into the wall can be very loud but the volume is adjustable, I have one on my main floor and the other in my finished basement. There is a wide selection of different options for the "bell", I am using the birds chirping which has been fun. Overall I would say this is a good value for the money and seems to be of good quality, I have not had any issues with them. And setup is easy, just plug and play basically.

This wireless doorbell worked perfectly for our 1200 sqft bungalow (not much distance between the plugged in chime unit and the buttons, so I can't comment on how far it can communicate). The ability to set different chimes for the front and back doors was what I was looking for and this unit delivers. The buttons look very high end, we've had people ask if they have a camera (they don't) because they look like they could.Most of the chimes are horribly annoying, but it has a mostly normal ding dong sound which we use for the front door and picked Under the Sea (from the Little Mermaid) for the backdoor which doesn't get used very often.I used the adhesive to mount the buttons which is fine for the east facing back door, but the one on the west facing front door fell off in the afternoon/evening sun so I had to screw that one in place which was easy enough, just don't overtighten the screws as it will slightly bend the base inward which can prevent the button cover from snapping into place. The volume is great, we can hear it clearly from anywhere in the house/basement.Would recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless doorbell with two buttons that can be set with different chimes.

Expensive item compared to many others in its category. The good finishing, the claims of the features and their quality prompted me to buy it. Within a few days, stopped ringing twice. Opening of the frame and gentle tapping on interior parts started ringing both the times. If its going to malfunction again, shall try to return the item. Thanks.. 2-12-2024: It continues to be defective. I decided to return it. Please do the needful.

We've been using this doorbell for about four years now, and it's been a reliable part of our house throughout its tenure. While it does have a bit of an excessive catalogue of possible sounds to choose from for each bell, it does help to identify which bell is being rung when people are just as likely to try the back door upstairs as they are to try the front door downstairs. The noise maker itself is located about halfway across the house from both doors, and is plugged in about halfway between floors on the stairwell. With that layout, both bells are in range and it can be heard clearly from either floor.The doorbells themselves have remained fixed in place through blizzards, heat waves, torrential rain, the occasional hurricane and one wasp nest, with no problems whatsoever thus far. Come to think of it, we've never had to replace the batteries in either doorbell, either. Maybe one of them will run out of juice one day, but it hasn't in the last four years.In all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, and if someone ever runs off with it I'll be sure to get another just like it.

Very simple to set up. My husband never heard the previous door bell we had. This one has great volume and handy to have extra plug in.
