EASY SETUP
Plug & Pair
Plug the C81-Gaming into your console’s USB-C port. Put your headphones into pairing mode and they will automatically connect to the adapter.
Switch Output
In your console’s settings menu, go to “Sound” and set the “Avantree C81-Gaming” as the output device.
Switch Input
For best audio results, set the input device to “Microphone on Controller.” Using your headphones’ mic will degrade background audio quality.

Paired quickly to my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones using my PS5. Audio quality is extremely clear, much clearer than when I connected my headphones to my controller using a headphone jack. Came with instructions but they kinda don’t have to be read since you just plug it in and pair your headphones to it. You just have to know how to enter pairing mode with your specific headphones. With mine I had to press and hold the power button until the blue light flashed quickly and I heard a voice saying it was in pairing mode.

This is a great device for my son to pair his Sony headphones with his PS5. It’s a nice, discreet little dongle that doesn’t take up much space and works seamlessly. It made the connection process so much easier, and he loves it for his gaming sessions.

I had this for like 2 months and it worked fine, now it just disconnect randomly and the light no longer flashes. It’s never been damaged or anything so not sure why it’s not working anymore.

So simple and easy to use. I for one am not a technology savvy person, and had heard a friend mention that I don’t NEED a headset (I don’t online game, just RPGs) and am in love with my current headphones and hadn’t ever found something that lived up to that quality. Anyway, when I discovered I could connect my PS5 to them with this????? Done. Plugged it in, and worked immediately. Just make sure you turn your Bluetooth off on your other devices first so it recognizes it. Yay! Thanks.

Works well with my Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones. The only drawback is the initial connectivity. I have to select it in the systems' sound settings, every time I start my PS5, even when the default sound device to the Avantree bluetooth device. Suspect the bug in Sonys' system setup, but I'mnot 100% sure.. However, it's well worth this inconvenience.Through this device, the sound quality is excellent. Microphone quality is excellent, both outgoing and incoming audio.I don't notice any lagging playing on games such as Sniper Elite 5. Very good price for what it offers, especially getting away from the proprietary Sony headphones. Haven't tried it on earbuds. I suggest leaving a message to Avantree if you need to be sure your headsets or earbuds would function with this.

I bought a Kuromi razor kraken v2 bt and I was super disappointed when I couldn’t connect it to my ps5 so I bought this and as soon as I plugged it in it connected the sound quality is a bit muffled but other than that it’s perfect

Existing Bluetooth headphones work with PS5. Definitely a good solution if you already have headphones.

Just here to write that they do work with both my Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen and my AirPods Pro Max. To a little doing and I had to turn off every Bluetooth device in my house the first time to get them to connect but once they connected that first time they auto connect every time after.Great audio with no lag that I notice. Definitely worth the money

El pedido en menos de 24h. en casa, tengo una barra de sonido 5.1 Sony HT-S40R, pero la Ps5 no tiene salida spdif y el bluetooth no és compatible con barras de sonido, hoy me ha llegado este dispositivo Bluetooth, lo he enchufado a la consola apagada, he encendido la barra y seguidamente la Ps5, se han detectado de forma automática, no he tenido que hacer nada, ahora cuando enciendo la consola la barra se enciende sola, por ahora funciona perfecto, 10 sobre 10.

There is crackling noise and the quality of the sound is not clear. You have a fix for that for the pc version, with an update. But not an update for the PS5 because thats not possible.Why do you put such thing in production and advertise it for the ps5 when the quality is like that ??I suggest PS5 owners to invest their money somewhere else.
