I had to replace a very old one that was literally falling apart. This worked perfectly. I love the D ring. Also like that I can insert a title page and edge title too. Works great on a bookshelf

Check the dimensions - it runs larger than most notebooks to accommodate the larger ring sizes. You'll need a deep shelf to hold it. Good quality. The rings seem sturdy and have a straight edge so that the pages lie one atop the other rather than at a curve.

I love the Avery extra-wide binders for all my business & home projects, because I can use insertable tabbed index dividers (meaning, I can insert an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper) and the extra width of the binder protects those tabs, which would otherwise stick out beyond the edges of a regular binder. One of my Avery extra-wide binders gets nearly daily use, and after 9 years it finally split. I was so impressed with how long it lasted & what a great workhorse it was for me, I didn't hesitate to replace it with another Avery extra-wide. When this one arrived last month, I discovered they improved the design of the binder mechanism, so it's even easier to open & close. Very pleased.

I got this to hold a bunch of papers all in clear sleeves, with divider sleeves which naturally protrude more than normal dividers (so they can be seen), and I didn't want the tabs to be sticking out. It's also very deep which I needed, so for that it's perfect.Note: all of the above makes it exactly what I needed and wanted, but it's much bigger than a normal binder so something to keep in mind.

These are very hard to find in the stores so I have to order on-line. But they are worth the effort if you are putting together binders with a lot of internal tabs/dividers or documents in document protectors. My employer has commented on how professional the final products has looked.

I have always kept my monthly investment reports filed in a large 3-ring binder for each year. It makes annual reporting to the IRS so much easier. This time I ordered the binder from Amazon. It seems so much sturdier than the ones I bought from various walk-in stores I have used in years prior. I like the “D†shaped holder rings. They make flipping the pages so much easier, especially when you are turning the year’s file of one investment at a time. The front and back cover seems thicker/ stronger too.

Well made, sturdy folder, but not tall enough. It is extra wide as described, but if you want to use plastic sleeves, it is way too short. See photos. Sleeves stick out above top of folder. It won't work for what I bought it for, don't see how it would be of any use at all. Only just fits an A4 sheet . Didn't consider that it could be so short. Have photographed it next to a regular size folder.Have just discovered that these folders are American sized. Apparently instead of A4 paper their standard paper is called letter paper, which is wider and shorter than A4 paper. Wish that was highlighted in the product description, especially as it comes from Amazon Australia. Would never have ordered if I had known.

Great binders. Using these binders for Ancestry unfortunately the WHITE discoloured. I would not suggest buying white. I had wanted black but at the time they were not available.
