Description:
The USB to DB25 Female adapter allows you to connect existing reliable printers (e.g. HP) to use with new computers (desktops, notebook, etc) that do not have have a parallel port but does have a USB port. For most customers, customers extend their existing printer cable (which has a DB25 Male ending) and connect to the DB25 Female end of this cable. Then the USB cable connects to their computer. The DB25 Male connector has 25 pins arranged in two rows one on top of the other. The top row has 13 holes and the bottom row has 12 holes.

With the new technology many old printers port are not compatible unless to usb. Finally I can continue using my HP printer with this adapter. Fits perfect and I'm back in business.

Works with my old HP Laserjet 4000T on Windows 11. Only had to install the printer drivers. The color is not the same as the picture on Amazon, but it is not an issue for me.

i needed a parallel port for a newish computer but using old software from the 90s, they need a real parallel port to to use the printer menu within the sw plus it also use a parallel port security key dongle which is not recognized by the sw as being plugged in.going to try a pcie parallel port device addon

Cable worked right out of the package. Hooked up my old dot matrix printer and it began to print on command. Works perfectly. Will buy again as a backup
