It came in a roll. But it unrolls easily. Then we put it on heating vent for half day and it straightened. Now we want to order two more but is expensive. Waiting for sale to come to fall below $20 and we will buy 2 more.

I bought it to go under my kitty litter and keep the carpet clean. It's a great size and it's very thick. It was easy to unfold. No dents or too stiff. I left it out and let it settle flat. It's very easy to clean and the quality is fantastic. Super, A+.

I ordered 2 of these for my office. It was a challenge to unroll them and keep them flat. I eventually used a blow drier to heat up the edges and then put weights on them and now they are mostly flat.

Mat took two people to unroll, one to hold an end until a heavy object could be put on it, then same with other end. It did say that one would have to do this and that was correct. Left it like that for two days, flattened out and stayed flat. Have been using it for a month now, chair rolls easily over mat but after sitting in chair for hour or so there are dents in the mat where chair wheels were. I am not over weight, just something that happens after sitting for a bit. There are still ripples in the flat mat from when it was rolled up tightly. Those do not appear to be resolving. Does not interfere with rolling the chair in or out of desk.

I thought this would be a good buy and not have to wrestle getting one home from Costco in my small car while getting stabbed by the little spikes on the back side. This product comes rolled up in a narrow box, which should have been my first clue that it would be a problem. It is made with a thinner, more pliable material that any mat that I have had in the past, and after following the instructions to unroll it and let it settle into a flat shape - I let it lay there in the middle of the living room for over a month before finally putting it in the office - it still does not lay completely flat. It's now been nearly 2 months since my purchase still trying to give it a chance (which of course made me miss the "return product window") and it still is not laying completely flat, to where the edges are slightly raised, just enough to stub a toe on. :-( And the little teeth on the back DO NOT hold it in place on the carpet like the mats I've had in the past - I am constantly having to adjust it every couple of days after it shifts so that it is not scraping against the bottom piece of my desk. And you can probably see in the photo the chair dents in the mat after sitting in it for only a few minutes, which make it very hard to roll the chair around and not get stuck in the dents. It also says this product has a lipped edge around it but I don't see or feel any lip so the wheels of my chair always get stuck if I happen to roll off the edge of the mat. I do not recommend this product!

I Got This Floor Mat & I'm VERY Happy With IT. It's Nice & Thick & Does A GREAT JOB.I READ The REVIEWS BEFORE I Got IT.. One REVIEW Said WET IT With WARM Water, Then LAY IT ON A FLAT SURFACE For A FEW Hours.I PUT MY NEW MAT IN THE SHOWER, WET IT WITH WARM WATER APPROX 1- 2 MINUTES, THEN LAY IT FLAT.THAT MADE IT MORE EASY TO MANAGE.. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE..I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.. & WILL BUY IT AGAIN..

It's not that it's rolled up, it's that it's tightly rolled up. I've been running a space heater on it for almost a week, and it's still not flat at the edges. The only way they could get it rolled this tight was the fact that it's so thin. I don't think it'll hold up for a long time. I like the size, but I can't recommend.May be this summer I'll drag it out side to put on my drive way in the summer heat and it'll finally flatten out. we'll see.

I've had two polycarbonate chair mats in the past. Both lasted about a year before developing cracks that the castors of my chair would get stuck in. So I'm trying this PVC mat now. It is less rigid than the polycarbonate mats I've had in the past, and so I'm hoping that it will be less liable to cracking. Time will tell. In the meantime it's doing its job very well, as far as I'm concerned, on my low-pile carpet.A note about flattening it: it came tightly rolled and seemed very stiffly stuck in the rolled shape. It's the middle of winter so (a) the rolled mat was very cold and (b) my central-heating radiators were on. So I simply rested the rolled-up mat, horizontally, on top of a radiator for an hour or so, then unrolled it (easily, because it was warm and therefore pliable), then put some heavyish books on the corners to keep it flat on the floor overnight. Next morning it was happily keeping its flat shape and so it was ready to pop under my desk chair. Simples.**UPDATE** 11 months later: This mat has had day-long daily use from me for the last 11 months, and it's still going strong - still as good as new. I think for me a PVC mat like this is indeed better than the polycarbonate mats II used to use (which always cracked after a while). I'll come back and update this if and when this PVC mat starts cracking!***SECOND UPDATE*** It's now 19 months since I started using the mat, and just this week a few hairline cracks have appeared. That's much better than the polycarbonate mats I used to use, because they always started to crack quite badly at around the 12 month mark.

We moved house and a perfectly good one made for carpets was no use, so back to Amazon.This one had good reviews and the price was good.Follow the unwinding instructions and be patient.If it’s a sunny day, leave it in the sun to soften, then when warmer FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONSIf you get it when it’s cold, keep it somewhere as warm as you can.Open according to the instructions and take your time to fully unwind it.It will flatten in time, no worries, but be PATIENT.Great in use and no grooves in the floor.Smooth running and a really good and useful hard floor office mat.

Just delivered today. It arrives rolled up, and unrolling and flattening really is a bit of a task but once you get it weighted and work it a bit it becomes more pliable (almost have it flat now by end of first day). The product is more substantial than I expected it to be (a welcome surprise) which no doubt contributes to the early unrolling/flattening experience. It is a pretty solid product which clearly will offer good carpet protection from those castors etc and the carpet grips are very good.Very pleased with the product - it will do what I wanted it to do.

La dimension et l'épaisseur sont correctes. Par contre sur le plan esthétique c'est pas génial : le produit n'est jamais totalement à plat, il fait plus foncé par sa composition en transparence que le sol, le granulé en surface ajoute à la brillance générale et enfin les poussières de la pièces qui ne se voient pas sur le sol, apparaissent très nettement sur le tapis. Donc bon : ça remplit sa fonction mais c'est moche.
