First time buying an olla instead of making one because the price point was worth a try. It worked SO well in my desert garden. It's sturdy and a good size for a 1ft raised bed. The bugs and plants made their home around the olla and it made my tomatoes go crazy.

Absolutely love the Back To Roots Olla’s! I currently have two in my garden and am planning to buy at least 5 more! They help keep my plants roots watered & improve the soil life by doing so as well.

I was planning a several day long trip and became worried about my plants being unattended for so long. When i heard about ollas i decided to check what was available online and felt these were perfect for what i needed. First of all, i love the size of them. Since my plants were already somewhat established i wanted something that i could easily bury next to the roots without too much disturbance. Second, i love the build with the rubber cork. Third, you cannot go wrong with the price. I thought of DIYing my ollas but the cost of materials, time, etc these made more sense to just buy. I have been using them for about a month now. It gets really hot where i live, anywhere from high 80s to 100s F and in the heat the ollas retain moisture for maybe around 2-3 days depending on the temp. My plants are thriving even in the heat. I would say if youre looking for a little extra piece of mind, this is a great option. Plus they look nice & ive gotten compliments on how pretty they are. Would recommend!

It's a great product and they help keep my above ground garden evenly moist. They're not quite big enough for my gardening purpose. They only hold 12 ounces of water, and I need to fill them every day instead of once a week. They do help with keeping water requirements to a minimum, and I think this size would work very well for large potted plants. I hope the company will make bigger ones for garden use.

I was looking for a small olla to water my plants while I’m on vacation. And to minimize daily watering.These are great. Attractive. So easy to dig a small hole and fill it up with water. Love that it’s all terra cotta, so no toxic chemicals. They keep my lemon trees happy.The reservoir is also decent sized for a small pot. Takes the guesswork out of watering and keeps the plants happy. I’ve had these now for a few months and happily report no breakage. Also love the stopper so it keeps the bugs out.

I live in very hot , dry central Texas. This item fills with water and distributes to plants as needed. It keeps me from having to water every single day . I check every 3-4 days to check the water level so I can refill when needed. The quality is excellent.

It's small but I still like it. I'm trying to use less water in my garden and hopefully this will do as it should and target my plants roots. Time will tell. Water cup is probably the same amount the Olla holds.
