I've received products which included plastic sprint clips. In a package of 10 two of them might already be broken. Over the next month of light use all 10 are broken. Those clips are plastic with snap in clamps. These KAGYOKU clips are at the other end of the spectrum.These clips are metal with rubber clamping surfaces. The springs are so hard they are a bit difficult to apply but should last years.I recommend these clamps.

These clamps are great - I've used them to hold backgrounds a stand, to hold a reflector to a boom, I've used them to clip loose clothing behind a subject and even used it to hold together two pieces of a lever which broke so it the epoxy glue could set. The inside of the clamps have a rubber pad so they don't scratch the surface and the springs are nice and strong. I've had many of these for a few years and haven't had any issues with build quality at all. MUCH better than those plastic clamps lots of stands ship with, I only use those things to hold potato chips bags closed.

I loved these clips for my home studio, EXCEPT I struggled to open them. You need strong hands/fingers. If you are arthritic or do not have strong hands, look for something else. The quality of these it GREAT! But I had to return them.

These make changing backdrops so easy since they hang off the bars and then all you have to do is clip the drop in place and secure the sides. GENIUS!(And they're super strong!)

These are thick, solid, and heavy clips. They feature a very thick spring to provide a tight hold. They are bigger than expects. They will be great for home and studio, but not travel.
