I use this to hold a background for making YouTube videos, so I don't need to move it around or pack/unpack it very often, but it does the job admirably. No issues with holding the background material (not a lightweight fabric, but not a heavy beast of a thing, either). Well worth the money for what I need it for.

The base is foldable which was my concern for transport. Very easy to fit back in the bag. I love the water weight option which gives more leverage than sand weights. Very sturdy for the price.

I ordered this because I thought it would be perfect for me doing events alone. Overall the set up was easy but! I took it out the box and the zipper was already broken off and the carrying case completely ripped open on the bottom before I could even take it out the. Wasn’t sweating it too much but the reason for my review is when you put together the pole for the backdrop to hang from there is no way to lock the pole extended so it doesn’t close when you put the backdrop on. The legs were easy to put together but at 6-8 feet high it became wobbly. I think next time I’ll do a little more research. It held up the duration of the event but my two complaints are receiving a damaged/ poor quality bag and not being able to lock the main pole in place.

I had a backdrop with the tripod legs and decided to try this one out since it has flat legs and I loved it, it’s definitely sturdy and easy to put together.
