My old bagel cutter, which didn’t survive a recent move, was smaller and lighter. In comparison, this Bagel Slicer is a robust, sturdy, rugged version. This larger size and weight give the cutter a premium feel while also making bagel slicing easier and safer. (Although safe when using it, I still think of Marie Antoinette.) The Bagel Slicer is functionally excellent. If you purchase this Lake Blue Slicer, your kitchen will immediately become prettier, safer, and happier.
