Recommendations

Does not make a clean cut. Fails miserably when trying to slice a large bagel, actually squished a large Costco bagel onto itself and failed to complete the cut. Does not necessarily center and cut a bagel into two equally thick pieces. Several were still cut on an angle despite the guide. You can do a much better job with a bread knife. Will be returning for a refund.

This is the best bagel slicer in the world! I have NEVER been able to hold a bagel and slice it in half. It always ends up bigger on one side. Now that I have this fabulous slicer, all of my bagels are sliced neatly in half. I love this product and highly recommend it to everyone!!!!!!!

I bought this as a gift for my brother. He loved it for 2 months then it stopped cutting begels. It just smashed them. I'm so disappointed. Cause it's very hard to buy for my brother since he has everything. But this little gadget brung him joy 😊!!!! Until it didn't!!!! 😥

The product is sturdy and well made. But the blade sucks, and it isn't wide enough for bakery bagles. My bagels end up shredded on the sides, from not properly fitting in the holder, and squished from the dull blade trying to push through the bread. Would maybe be good for smaller, less dense, bagles.

The section where you insert the bagel is way too large for a regular bagel - meaning it will be almost impossible to get the bagel centred for the blade to cut it in half. So results have been - bagels cut on a significant angle - meaning they don't toast consistently - or one thick and one very thing bagel slice. Have used this style of cutter before - but best to avoid this particular one

We use this bagel slicer on different sized bagels and shaped buns. Provides a nice clean cut every time and it's easy to clean

May come partially disassembled (comes apart for cleaning). Don't be concerned to see loose nuts/bolts in box (four of each). Works as it should.
