If you got a Bahco file, you made a good choice. You'll be able to sharpen implements. You'll be able to file down metals. Get a file card/brush for an extra ten bucks to keep your file clean, and clean the metal and rust off. You'll get your money's worth. It'll file down your implements, and you DO need this. Mower blades, axes, any metal object really besides your fine little pocket knife. You can file down motor vehicle parts. Just order it and be glad you have it when you need it. Be a ProHo.

This file reminds me of what a good file can do. This Bahco 1-143-08-1-2 Mill file has 4 filing surfaces, the larger two faces a different one being more coarse than the other. Bahco appears to rate the files on a 1,2 and 3 scale (according to the packaging). This unit has a 1 and a 2 surface, with 3 being the most coarse, it's like a medium and a fine.The faces cut very well ( so far ) and clean up quickly with a file card, or soft wire brush.I cannot speak to durability yet, but I expect it will last a good long time. I will update if not.I got this to touch up axes and hatchets, but I could see the medium side being useful for changing a grind angle if pushed.I am going to try a couple more Bahco files and see what can do.

I normally don’t review tools but this file is an exception. I have bought namebrand files from Lowe’s and Home Depot and they do not compare this is by far the best file I have ever owned.Follow up: After a few months of use the file is still sharp and is working great most definitely buy this product

After buying and going through a lot of the files that I would find at my local tool stores, I finally took a chance and bought a couple of these files. What a game changer. These not only take metal off in the way you imagine a file should, they also last a very long time. Much longer than the other files that I had bought. As an added boon, each file comes with a comfortable handle making filing a joy. I would definitely recommend these files to anyone who is sharpening tools, removing metal, we're doing any other type of metal work.

The handle worked itself loose before I was finished sharpening my second blade or this would be a 5 star review. A few dabs of Gorilla Glue is all it took.This tool is easy to use and works perfectly. I’ve never used a file before in my first day, I sharpened three garden nippers, one hedge clipper and two hand held garden shears. I can’t wait to tackle my yard!Next up- lawn mower blades.

I was able to sharpen my shovels, my post hole diggers and my hatchet quickly. Got the nicks out of the hatchet cleanly without hogging off too much material. The handle is a perfect size and comfortable. I had lots of control regardless of tool shape.This was money well spent for me. I look forward to a lot of use with this tool!

For some reason it is getting hard to find decent files. This is a good one. It doesn't do anything better than you should be able to expect, it's just that that is rare these days.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Feile für Zähne von Heckenscheren und den abschließenden Schliff von Äxten.Die Feile nimmt bei moderatem Druck ausreichend Material an Zähnen von Heckenscheren und Äxten ab. Ein schnelles, ausdauerndes Arbeiten ist möglich.Die Standzeit der Feile ist nach dem zweimaligen Gebrauch natürlich noch nicht abschätzbar, ich werde mir auf jeden Fall noch zwei für Notfälle ins Lager legen.Super Produkt zum fairen Preis...
