I had returned a pair of competitor's shears, which were $10 less expensive, not sharp, and didn't work. Then I ordered these, because they're listed on a gardener's web site. SO happy! They are wicked sharp and trim my garden bed edges super cleanly--exactly what I wanted. Because of the long handles, I also groomed a bush that had grown too tall. Of course, holding up the shears is more strain on the back, but it worked. The battery edgers I have tear up the lawn & the border, it doesn't give a clean cut, and it's heavy for me. This tool is what I needed. I highly recommend.

This is a marvelous gardening tool. I love it for fine edging on formal circles and getting into hard places that need special care in cutting. It took quite a while before it came by mail. Packed very well. A must garden tool in my opinion.

Makes a nice edge in border gardens. It doesn't work as well along a hard surface, such as a driveway or stone/ metal edging.

These do a great job of edging. No more crooked edging or backache. They are well made and cut through overgrown sod extremely well.

These edging shears are fantastic for a really well manicured lawn. Light to you use, I am a 5ft woman and found them no trouble at all. Wish I had bought them sooner. Much more professional finish than a trimmer.

Didn't take me but a few minutes to realize I may as well bend over and pick the d..... weeds! I guess I should have read the 1 star reviews but it went back immediately. Awkward, heavy, is all I can say....should have done the battery operated weed eater like i was thinking! Waste of money!!

Perfect for lawn edging. Easy to use We have an gas powered weed eater but this manual edger leaves by far a much better edge to our lawn. In my opinion it’s worth the physical work for the end result. Plus We are not using gas and polluting the environment or adding to the noise meter!!! Well constructed. Worth the price. Highly recommend.
