It really does feel like a dream when the chemical smell leaves. The only bad thing to say is that it doesn’t come with an external pillow case.You open the zipper and all the fluff is right there. Hard to wash.

I've been using a pillow similar to this one for a couple of years now; it came with the Medcline sleep system I bought for my shoulder pain and apnea. That pillow is a bit bigger, as in fatter, and doesn't have the straight part across the top for a pillow. I use a pillow anyway, but it tends to slide down or perch oddly at the top. That flat shelf is what attracted me to this swan pillow by Balapet. It comes with a matching pillow for that section, but I have my own that I prefer to use (however, this small piece is good for lumbar support if you need that, or put it between your knees for hip pain). This pillow also seems more ergonomic, whereas my old one was just a floppy candy cane shape and a bit thicker than it really needed to be. This doesn't take up as much space in the bed and it's consequently not as heavy, either. I like that it has a more thoughtful shape to it.I noticed the other reviews mentioned no pillow case for that. That is true, same for my old one. What I do is cover 3/4ths of the pillow in a body pillow case and the other 1/4 in a king or queen sized regular pillow case and just overlap them (do not get a pillow case with a zipper closure). Then I wash those on laundry day and I've had no problems. I've even sewn snaps on the cases so I can keep them together better. I prefer this lighter, leaner pillow with its pillow shelf over the other style I had, it's more convenient. It assists in keeping me on my side which my doctors tell me I need to help with lowering the occurrences of apnea. The raised platform helps me with my GERDs, using gravity to keep the stomach acid down. This is individual to me, but it's definitely helped. This in return gives me a greater quality of sleep and helps reduce my back pain, too. Overall, it's a full win for me! Your mileage may vary, but it's worth checking out for yourself. Great for pregnant women too, as I got one for my niece while she was pregnant- she said it helped immensely with her lower back pain and sleep quality. I recommend giving it a try, for sure!

The memory foam was HARD as a rock. If that is what you like then this pillow is for you. I do like the compact shape which makes it easy to store but FOR ME it just didn't soften at all. It's like sleeping on a rock hard pillow.

This is such a gimmick. It does not have enough plush to it, especially in the lower portion. It's not long enough. It's not wide enough. Material does not feel pleasant to the touch. Does not come with pillow case and they are basically impossible to find. I could not find one. Do not waste your time or money.

Saw it and had to try it and I love it! Hate to be that person but it really is that simple! The description is spot on. I am a side sleeper, have chronic back pain, shoulder injury, and GERD and this helps me when I sleep by combining all the pillows I had on the bed into one! I'm taller than 6ft and this still reaches down far enough to go between my knees with no problem.. I have to deduct a star because it doesn't have a pillow case but I threw a couple kings on it until I find one to fit it. The indention to put your arm through is probably my favorite part. Great product and great price!

I've had issues with pillows for the past six months. What always worked before suddenly didn't. It started when I had COVID back in July, and just got worse. No matter what pillow I used, it hurt my neck or it was just uncomfortable. Either they were too soft, too hard, or too flat. I finally got into the habit of bending a flat (ish) pillow a weird way and sleeping like that. It still hurt my neck, but it wasn't as bad as before.I was hesitant about ordering this. I figured it would be something big and clunky that would be yet another failure when it came time for me to sleep. The first couple of nights were a little iffy as I wasn't quite sure how to use it. What finally worked was when I stopped using the actual attachable pillow and just used the other part. For the first time in months my neck didn't hurt when I woke up. It's just soft enough without being too soft, and it more or less comforms to my head and neck.It's not ready right out of the package. You have to wait for it to fill out correctly, which doesn't really take that long. Right out of the pack you'd be wondering how in the world something like that would work, but if you give it enough time, you'll see.I will say that the body pillow is a bit much, and it takes up quite a bit of space in the bed. My husband works nights and sleeps during the day, so I have the bed to myself overnight unless he's off from work. I may try to use just the small pillow for those times. Hopefully it'll work as well as the body pillow.Overall, I'm extremely happy with this. I'm really glad I took a chance with it.

This BALAPET Adjustable Swan Body Pillow is a bit smaller than you expect, so it doesn't hog the bed, but it fit my 5'11" frame just fine. It was helpful in keeping me on my side, as my wife prefers me to sleep that way to reduce snoring. I will warn you though that you might detect some sort of a smell - I have a very poor sense of smell, but I did have to move my nose away the first couple of nights. My wife can smell a fart from a mouse, and it didn't really bother her unless she was closer. After letting it air out for a week or 10 days, it mostly goes away. One thing to note - you'll never find a pillow case for this thing!

we keep this body pillow in the guest room… And the guest room is also my nap room lol!I work an odd shift, and when I come home mid morning, I just want to take a nap not go to bed… This body pillow is so comfortable. The size is perfect and offers Great support.This pillow has great quality and a great ability to usher me right into La La Land… So so happy with this pillow. Highly recommend.
