These are straight thread, NOT tapered FPT (Female NPT) as the description states. Proper, tapered MNPT fittings just bottomed out without sealing.They are completely unfit for purpose as advertised and described.Otherwise they appear well-made.

Nothing odd about it. A nice clean 1/2" npt valve. The threads are tapered. Seals well with Teflon tape.

I am a millwright and have installed many stainless and brass ball valves, this one would not cut it for industrial use. Wall thickness at ends is quite thin. Internal thread length is short so a nipple bottoms out before it tightens up or it is G thread not NPT. I am only using it for a shutoff on a DIY off grid water filter system so it will do I guess.Update: After further inspection the threads are indeed straight thread not NPT as advertised, I decided to return valves. Just can't justify paying for Chinese junk after being lied to about the threads. I don't understand the positive reviews, must be paying for them.

Well made valve, seems good stainless steel, aside from the fact that the male thread is Not NPT, but instead British.This does not work in North America, not sure why Amazon is selling it here.The female thread side kind of seemed to work, but feels very loose, would probably require a lot of Teflon tape to make it snug and leak proof.Returned.
