I don’t like the traditional iron baluster shoes, and my ideal would have been shoeless altogether, but DIYing our stair rail meant I had to sacrifice ultimate perfection (no shoes) and settle for something more subtle than the usual baluster shoes you see.I found these and was estatic! They are low profile, simple, and such a clean look. The only thing I wish they had was those tightening screws so I wouldn’t have to glue them down to the stair tread. But otherwise, I love these! They look amazing and hide the imperfections in the hole the balusters go into. Now it looks flawless. So glad I got these for my project. :)

We took out our half wall on our entryway and installed a half wall with metal balusters. We were going to try to just drill holes but worried we might not get the right angle. These worked perfectly and look great. They are are sturdy and swivel easy enough to move to the right angle. Definitely recommend these.

Product is what I was looking for and works but was missing a part for one of the brackets making it unusable. Contacted company for missing part but have yet to hear from them.

This item seems to be well machined. No sharp edges or major deviations in measurements. Very well suited for my custom railing build.

Horrible. So annoyed I wasted my time. They absolutely fit and can be used on a diagonal staircase but just know, a balluster shoe will not fit over them. So you'll have about an 1/8" gap on each one. See photos. May be fine for you but for us it looked horrible.

These Baluster Swivel Connectors were perfect for our situation. There are plenty DYI YouTube videos showing people busting out nailed in balusters, removing a couple nails, drilling into the stringer, and installing new metal balusters. This method was not possible for us. Our old wooden balusters were installed with screws coming up from under the stringer, so we could not drill down into the stringer, and we were not going to rip the whole staircase apart.Thank goodness I found these! After we cut away the old balusters, we used a Dremel and cut off the screw ends. I was then able to punch the remaining part of the screws down in to the stringer and use these swivel connectors to mount my new metal balusters.I am so happy with the results! These are perfect for handrails assembled like ours, and either angled or flat shoes fit right over them. Great product.
