Very nice. Gave it to my daughter-in-law for Christmas as she recently started making sourdough bread and is quite enthusiastic. She's doing great! She likes the kit, has some very useful and well-made accessories she didn't have yet.

I am a new baker and am by no means well versed but I wanted to give sourdough a go. I came across this jar and initially liked the look and clear markings are very functional. Since I am new, the idea of tracking things through sticky notes or rubber bands is overwhelming when I am already trying to make sure I measure everything correctly for a new starter, so the included band with time markings makes things so much simpler for me and is easy to use. The glass is sturdy and cleans easily. I hope to be able to make a great dough from starter soon!I am marking as 4 stars since I have yet to form a proper starter with the jar, and that I have noticed the included material "lid" can very tricky to get on. In addition, I do notice some dryness on the top of my starter and am unsure if this is due to the particular material provided. Overall, I am happy with this purchase!

I love this kit. I am new to the sourdough world and this kit has been really helpful. There is a temperature strip that helped me realize my starter wasn’t rising due to it being too cold. It also comes with a stirrer that fits perfectly and helps get all the dough off the sides. It’s very easy to clean.

This bundle was exactly what I needed to get started on my sourdough journey. The bannettons, lame, danish whisk, everything was quality. I will say that the tabs/handles of the silicone mat are annoyingly long and flop over the bread. I couldn’t get them to stand up long enough to get the lid of my Dutch oven on so I just let it bake that way. I’ll probably cut half of the length off. Other than that, no complaints!! Very satisfied.
