These baskets really helped my sourdough prep. When I received them there was a little splintering which is why I took a star off for sturdiness, but that was easy to clean up with a razor. I seasoned them by misting with water and wiping rice flour into the cracks and letting dry completely. I repeated this step three times. After, I made my first batch of sourdough bread, taking care to re-dust the baskets and dough with only rice flower, then leaving the dough to proof for the bench rise overnight in the fridge. These did not stick at all, and my bread turned out great. No complaints.I used the "liner" to cover my dough in the fridge, and put my dough directly in the baskets. I prefer the small amount of spiraling I get without using the liner in the basket. I did season the liner my rubbing rice flour into the fabric and had no issues with sticking. The basket, liner, and scraper are nice products, the lame was pretty dull and didn't do a great job. Let's be honest though, you are paying for the baskets here and those were great; any of these addons are just bonus.

I'm obsessed with my WERTIOO Banneton Bread Proofing Basket! This 9-inch beauty has become my go-to for sourdough adventures. The craftsmanship is impressive, and it gives my loaves that perfect shape and texture. The dough doesn't stick, and the result is a beautifully risen, artisan-looking bread. It's like having a little artisan bakery in my kitchen. If you're into sourdough baking, this proofing basket is a game-changer – totally worth it!

The proofing basket is great. The lining is quality. The “extras†are however rather poor quality. The scoring blade is dull and does not cut properly and the scrapper is subpar.

I recently took a sourdough bread class and this has been perfect for my weekly loaves. I have made almost 50 loaves to date and this has been clutch for my loaves to turn out beautifully yummy.0

This is my first foray into using a proofing basket. I've used it exactly once so far, and it worked like a charm. I decided to go without the cloth liner and got the pretty ring pattern. What is missing from the mailed package are any instructions at all. I did a YouTube search and found plenty of examples on prepping your banneton for a first use, and care and cleaning (never use soap). If you're a basket case newbie like me, YouTube is your friend!I haven't tackled sourdough bread as of yet. I did see someone's comment they used 4 cups flour. I'd say that's probably the absolute limit for a 9 inch diameter basket. I prefer using a scale and the Baker's Percentage method. My first round loaf used 500g flour, which is pretty close to 4 cups. For anyone who's curious, here's what I baked.Rye Flour (20%) 100gWhole Wheat (20%) 100gBread Flour (60%) 300gWater (80% hydration) 400gSalt (2%) 10gYeast (1%) 5gI decided to go with a high hydration since rye doesn't rise as well as wheat, and I like a course crumb. I could have used less yeast, because towards the end it was rising pretty fast. I have to admit I became alarmed when it started to dome above the level of the basket, but it all worked out fine. :) Ready to try again!

This set values for money, it’s a decent size and material is very good. For a sourdough starting point it’s a must!

Love the basket and the fabric that does not stick. However, the fabric is ripping apart at the seams. I hand washed it and used it 3 times.

The basket is just what I wanted and is perfect for proofing sourdough. I'm not so sure about the included recipe, though.

I ordered the Banneton Proofing Baskets because I started baking sourdough bread, and wanted something for my dough to rise in. I am every happy with the quality, and my bread tastes and now looks amazing too!

The basket is smaller than 9", it is 8.5 inches instead.

Order came as expected, the lame isn't high quality but I can't fault that - the proofing basket does the job!

Everything looks good but the basket has a tiny hole with sharp edge in the inner bottom side so that would damage the loaf when we place it in the basket for proofing. Otherwise the basket looks pretty, good quality. Wish there was replacement option available. I have seen for few products there is option for return but not for replacement. Sometime the product is good we can say that but has some manufacturing or handling defect so in that case replacement would be good.
