I bought some hex-drive brass plugs to close off the extra ports. They would not seal. Ended up using square-drive plugs.It seems the manufacturer used NPS (National Pipe Straight) instead of NPT (National Pipe Taper) when cutting the threads. I had to use 4 wraps of Teflon tape AND Teflon dope to get my fittings to seal.I had to use my NPT tap to get my fittings to seal.

I purchased this manifold for moderate-pressure (well below the manifold's pressure rating) CO2 distribution in an in-house greenhouse and aquarium construction. Even on my first attempts to fit the exactly-correct-size brass and aluminum-alloy connections, the aluminum in this manifold stripped under merely hand-wrench screwing. I held it together for a week or so with a lot of Teflon tape and retooled connections. None-the-less, leaks kept springing up, and I was out a full CO2 cylinder in no time. After replacing the manifold with a far-better-constructed alternative (at only a few dollars more), I'm months into a cylinder recharge with no leaks. Specifically, nothing stripped on the replacement manifold, and again, I only used hand tightening.
