There are several fixes for the Jeep front axle that has the actuator that disconnects the axle shaft from a one into two a piece, for summer driving. The Off roading or winter time driving, this switch requires no electric power to operate, it is a mechanical manual switch, that either direction to flip it to stays in that side or direction. This got mounted in the dash panel or center dashboard, and the switch looks just like the other switches for the other items I added a long time ago. I ran new vacuum hose from the disco actuator (x2) one from each side of the actuator, and one from the engine manifold, through the fire wall, Jeep is back to normal functioning of the 4X4. The old vacuum system is capped off, to keep dirt out. less then 60 bucks to do this whole process.

The switch did not work right at all. It seemed to really restrict the air pressure and barely move the air cylinder. the toggle switch itself was wobbly and took a lot of manual adjustment to open and close the cylinder. I purchased theBaomain foot switch and swapped it out with this switch and it worked like a charm. I would not recommend purchasing this switch.
