About this item

  • Compact Yet Powerful: Bear electric dough maker has a 3.7 quart capacity and is capable of mixing dry flour weights ranging from 7 to 38 ounces. With 120W of power and a three-dimensional stainless steel mixing blade, it increases the kneading area, resulting in more pliable and strong dough. This makes it perfect for making pizza, bread, roti, dumplings and sourdough.
  • Effortless Handling: This dough mixer has an easy-to-use control panel. Simply follow these three steps: 1. Add water and flour in the correct proportions; 2. Choose the function: mix or ferment, or both. The default mixing time is 15 minutes (adjustable up to 40 minutes) and the default ferment time is 90 minutes (adjustable up to 120 minutes); 3. The process ends with a beep.
  • High Quality Material & Low Noise: Bear dough maker machine is made of 304 stainless steel for direct food contact and is resistant to wear and easy to clean. This dough maker runs with low noise, and the suction cup feet at the bottom make the dough maker more stable, reduce the degree of shaking and further lower the noise.
  • Uniform Mixing & Thermostatic Fermentation: This dough mixer has a conical top cover to ensure the dough is evenly stressed. Combined with the feature of manual mixing, the mixing blade turns and stops. Bear dough Maker uses constant temperature fermentation technology, which ferments at a constant temperature ranging from 77 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • User-Friendly Design: Bear electric dough maker is equipped with a top panel, making the buttons more intuitive and user-friendly. There is a feed cover on the lid, providing convenience for adding ingredients and water during operation. The snap-fit design of the lid ensures stability and prevents overflow.

  • The small lid can also be removed while the machine is working to put in water and flour
  • It is normal for the dough mixer to run intermittently when kneading the dough.
  • After kneading for more than 40 minutes, let the dough maker rest for 30 minutes
  • To make the machine work better, the range of mixable flour is 200g-1100g
  • If your room temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius, we recommend using warm water to achieve better fermentation results.

I purchased this product over 2 years ago. I have used it 2+ times per week to make a variety of different types dough. This dough maker and the fermenting function are great. I love that the blade is made of metal. I have only hand washed the bowl, blade and lid as that is what the instructions suggest. I've made sandwich bread, dumplings, pita, artisan, rolls, etc without any issues. I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs something to mix/knead the dough.I previously used my KitchenAid mixer, but it wasn't getting the job done for me and seemed to struggle with some of the dough. I read the reviews and decided to try this one. It was worth every penny I spent. I did manage to break the only plastic part on it, the lid, when I accidentally knocked it off of the counter and it landed on it's side. It is still functional, only the plastic ring broke on it which is an ornamental piece. This is strictly a mixer with a fermenting feature and does not bake the dough for you. I knew this when I purchased it so it wasn't a problem for me. I've recommended this product to a few of my friends, but they prefer a machine that would also bake the bread. Again, I cannot recommend this product enough for mixing dough.

I bought this little machine two years ago when my bread machine died and I realized I only used it for mixing and proofing dough anyways. It has a much larger capacity than a standard bread machine, the paddle is larger, and the proofing temp is lower, so you don't end up with partially cooked or dried pieces. I just throw the ingredients inside in any order and hit mix and come back in a few to find a lovely dough ball. Some of the things I love about this machine are:* It's easy to pull in and out of the cabinet (I store the mixing bowl and base separately).* It's easy to wash* It's easy to pause and add something you forgot* Compared to a bread machine and its settings, it's easy to change the times, start over, etc.* because it stirs from the bottom, no crumbs are left behind* the capacity seems just right for most home baking projectsHere are the things I don't like:* the mix cycle is loud and annoying (although we are all used to it by now)Because it's so easy to use and clean, I found myself using it for non-bread projects, too, like mixing pasta dough or brownie mixes. Today, I was cleaning my kitchen and realized my KitchenAid mixer, which I used to use all the time (I have the Professional model) was covered in dust. I had to admit to myself that I just don't use it anymore because I'm always pulling out this little machine instead. So now the KitchenAid is going in the pantry to free up some counter space.

EXCELLENT ..... does a NICE JOB Mixing and Kneading for a 55+oz. Ball of Dough ... HOWEVER, I found out the HARD WAY that IF making a large amount of dough, you DEFINITELY want to 'Strap It Down' (as pictured) as it'll get 'TOP HEAVY' and wants to tip-over and fall off my 'Bread Cart' (this is why it only got 4 stars - I'm sure the other brands will do the same thing as well) .... I'm NOT able to use the suction-cups to stick it to the Bread Cart's Top !!! 🙄 🤔OTHER THAN THAT ....... THIS THING WORKS GREAT ..... and I don't have to stand around in the kitchen !!! 😏😁My mix time is 20 Minutes, and the 'Rise Time' (Ferment) is 50 Minutes ..... MAKES EXCELLENT NO Salt and/or Sugar Added AIR-BAKED 🥖🍞’BREADS & ROLLS’🍞🥖 !!! 😃😋😊😛😃

This appliance is literally the best product I never knew I needed! My hands aren't strong enough anymore to fully knead my homemade doughs so I was finally about to break down and buy a KitchenAid stand mixer just for it's dough mixing capabilities. The only thing I would have used it for was making doughs, and I really didn't want to spend a small fortune just for that...Then, in browsing, I came across this little beauty of a product. It mixes dough automatically - WHAT?? It even ferments (rises) the dough automatically - WHAT AGAIN?? Holy crap this is JUST what I need!! So I ordered and wow I'm glad I did. This thing is a true hand saver and also reduces a lot of mess in the dough making process. Mix AND proof your dough all in one machine - HOW AWESOME IS THAT!So far I've made hearty Italian breads, crusty rolls, hotdog buns, soft sandwich rolls... even though the machine is targeted toward more Asian type doughs for baos and noodles etc, it can make ANY kind of dough! It even kneads stiffer doughs with no issue. It's perfect for proofing (fermenting) the dough as it stays at a nice consistent temperature - you don't have to transfer it to another bowl and worry about where to put it so it rises properly. When it's in the mixing stage, you may need to scrape down the sides so you have to kind of watch it for the first few minutes. It's also helpful to add liquids fist then the dry ingredients rather than the other way around. I also dig out and remove the mixing blade before it goes into rise mode so the dough doesn't get tangled in it when I plop it out.I am going to make cookie and dessert doughs in this thing next to see how well it mixes them. Of course in that case the ferment mode isn't needed so I'd just need it for the mixing purposes.I got the 5L size and the dough mixer hook IS stainless steel, not painted or coated with anything, FYI.If you're looking to strictly make doughs, do NOT hesitate on this machine. It's totally worth it. Your hips and scale might not agree though ;)

The item arrived way before the scheduled date. Thus far I'm very satisfied with the quality of the product and the work it does (hopefully it will last for a long time). The only issue is a lack of an On/Off power switch. The product user manual requires one to unplug the unit after use and each time a user needs to reset it. Fortunately, I was able to connect the unit using an on/off power adapter including the switch. The control panel needs to get used to, as well.In the end, the unit does the job very well. It kneads the dough, then goes to a fermentation stage and beeps when finished. During the fermentation stage, a small heater slightly heats the bowl containing the dough which was a welcome surprise.Mechanically the unit appears to be well-built, solid and well-engineered. Some negative reviews show stripped kneading shaft gear. An explanation for this occurrence would be an overload by trying to knead hard pasta dough or the bowl wasn't secured correctly.

This product we have so many issues with. It is very noisy, the whole table shakes when it is mixing. There is a burning motor smell each time it mixes. We kept seeing light sparks from under the machine. Each time the motor spins the sparks got larger in size and I would turn the device off. This is for example selecting the 15 minute option. Save your money by either mixing the dough yourself or purchase a bread maker. I had a bread maker and began using that and left this device, really I should have sent it back immediately but didn't, then the bread maker broke down after 10 years. I thought I would try and use this again, big mistake. Product is rubbish!!!!
