This igniter is an electronic ignition stove without open fire. It is used to light liquefied gas, natural gas and other gas stoves.

When igniting, the tip of the gun is close to the air outlet, and the tip of the gun is far away from the air outlet. The gas is not allowed to be turned on. Easy to ignite. When using, first turn on the air outlet switch, then put the gun head on the stove fire outlet, pull the trigger of the lighter gun, try to find the air outlet position several times, and it will be better later.

Well made and does what it’s supposed to do. I have been using it to light my propane heaters in my garage and it works great. No more bic lighters, my hands are far enough away from the flame when it lights. Some of the stuff you get from china is low quality but these igniters are very well made. I would not have a problem buying again.

Works great, sparks every time. BUT you must light ABOVE where the gas comes out. PURE propone or natural gas will NOT burn, it must mix with a little AIR first. Try 1-2 inches above.

And it lit my gas stove, though took more than one pull of trigger. Still piezo is proven technology and means no fuel, flints, batteries, or recharge necessary. And it has long barrel/nozzle/tube, whatever you call it so hand doesnt need to be anywhere close to burner.Now its definitely unique in 2023 with a housing made from stamped sheetmetal. Its smooth, no rough/sharp edges. And looks like lightly chromed. I will say downside of such is that if damp or wet it will rust. Think about that using it on outdoor grill and probably leaving it there.As to looks, kinda reminded me a toy version of a futuristic James Bond movie gun back before era of plastics.Has sticker on it claiming guaranteed for 30,000 lights. Sure they dont expect anybody to actually keep a tally and try to make them honor that guarantee... LOL Like say, RUST is probably its biggest enemy, piezo ignition is proven and quite reliable. Oh it also says not to touch the lighter to any metal part on what you are lighting. I did let barrel touch burner, just to see, didnt make difference, if anything it lit bit easier when it was touching metal. Probably worried somebody would find way to shock themselves or something.

I have an old gas stove with the pilot lights turned off and I use it to light the stove. My bad I realized that the refillable Gaslighter I have from Dollar tree also makes a spark and I don't need the gas which I've gotten tired of filling. They both work fine to make sparks, the old gas lighter cost a fifth of what this cost And it's smaller and easier to manage.

The automatic lighters on my grill are failing and never worked will in the first place. This device is much better. With its long reach, just hold it near a burner through the "match" opening and one click ignites the flame. Just bought a 2nd one in case I lose the 1st, would not want to be without one!
