Trained my pup this is his potty stick and I simply stick it below him when he squats to go potty. So clean for my hands and ground esp when he has stomach upsets. No longer frustrated over picking up soft poo for my large dog.Would be nice addition if it comes with a light feature for nighttime, but easy enough to strap a tiny led flashlight to the stick myself.For replacement bags, I had tried different 1.2 gallon garbage bags and those worked perfectly! It is a slightly wider opening but it can hang over the lip a bit more so it’s cleaner to unclasp under the bag when done! No dirty hands ever! Love it!

the bag latch design could be better.I changed my dog's food and he had the runs. It worked to get under him. the latch area that hold the bag in place my be covered is you don't position it right. I only use 1 of the 3 latches and fold the bag down around the hoop.

My dog has poop the consistency of Dairy Queen ice cream. Very soft and impossible to cleanly pick up off grass. In my own yard, I can leave it for a day out two and it’ll dry up enough to pick up, but I can’t do that when we’re on a walk and it’s someone else’s lawn. I tried to slide newspaper up under him, or to put the bag on my hand and try to catch the poop coming out (which was truly gross and I’m sure I looked ridiculous to anyone looking out their window…) So this thing has been a lifesaver. It does take some practice and I have a few tips: 1. When you put the bag on, wrap the top of the bag around the top of the circle and back under to clip it in place. See pic. That way the bag covers the top of the plastic circle and you don’t end up with poop on it. 2. Have the bag loaded and ready before you go for a walk. 3. Watch the dog closely for signs he’s ready - most dogs don’t do a sudden squat and poop, so know the dog’s routine and you can be prepared. 4. My dog kinda freaks out if I try to follow him through the grass with this bag holder right behind him. I let him find his spot while I’m extending the handle, and then let him start his squat before I gently slide the bag under his butt. By then he’s committed and doesn’t move off. That’s where the practice comes in - you need to find the right timing with your own dog.The item could stand to be a little more sturdy, but it is really lightweight, and I like that. As for the bags, they are as sturdy as most other dog bags, and I’ve never had one break or split open, and only once did a clip on the holder tear the bag. Overall, I love this thing and it has taken away all the anxiety about potentially leaving poop in someone’s grass.

Does not fit standard size bags. Came with a few rolls but eventually I will need to order from somewhere I guess. I had a triangle one and after about 2 years I broke it. So this looked more sturdy which it is but I am thinking the way it snaps the bags on it may wear out sooner. You will need to set this up before you put your leash on your dog - can't put the bag on while walking the dog. I bought this mainly for when i have my son's dog that is very large with very large poop. Wish it would fit the standard bags and it would be a little easier to attach them.

We were a bit iffy on if this product would work but it has been a game changer for us! We take it on every walk and our puppy got used to it being under him within the first day. It makes the whole process of cleaning up after your dog easy and stress free.The bags are definitely not the best, but we thankfully found an alternative that works with it. It may take a few tries to put on correctly but once you get the hang of it - it’s ezpz (you’ll want to make sure the handles are tucked under two of the corners). The bags we recommend with this product are the Earth Rated Poop Bags with Handles (pictured).We hope that this review will help anyone else who had issues with the bags and that it’ll help with the usefulness of this product!

We love using this poop catcher. The only downside are that the snaps are difficult to open so I ended up using 4 small binder clips to keep the bag in place. See photos. We use the bag for a few days cutting down on bag usage and I love how the bag catches the waste without ever touching the grass. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to make it an oblong shape instead of a circle.

At first I thought this was just a gimmick but I gave it a try. It is a must have for travel and great for everyday use. First time traveling with our 1 year old, I was panicked about an accident. I used it and it was great at home, but knowing if there might be an accident in public and I can catch it without a mess is a great piece of mind. So far I only have needed it in designated areas and no accidents.

So far, I do love this thing. I have an 80 lb mixed breed who tends to have a softer stool that is almost impossible to clean out of the grass. With this device, it doesn’t even touch the grass. No more gross fingers that have gone through the bag, if you know what I mean!I do look kind of strange walking him with what is essentially a butterfly net, but it does the job.The reason for 4 stars is that I wish the telescoping part was a little sturdier with a way to lock it in place. I tend to telescope it out and then back up the smaller sections. It will also turn on you, so just be mindful. The clips are plastic, so not sure how long they will last, but so far so good. I will get another one if this one breaks.Now, for replacement bags, I’ve found that the 1.2 gallon trash bags work well and you can even get them in biodegradable options.

This has been so helpful after my surgery when bending is not doable. I have a Bichon and a Shih Tzu and got the small size. It’s discreet enough to take on walks, convenient handle, and regular doggie bags fit when the original bags are used up.The dogs don’t seem to notice it’s there, picks everything up and is easy to use. My only concern is it doesn’t feel super sturdy so I’m not sure how long it will last, but definitely have found it helpful.

This is not worth the cost of this poop catcher. It should be priced about 80% less. Cheap rubbish.

It's a great product....takes a bit to get used it it but it is a great little scoop... Ice not having to bend over.

Small and compact. I have a toy poodle and she stops and goes quickly so I just extend the handle and cartch! Perfect if the stool is loose - touch free and no pulling grass or finger through the bag.

If I could not put a star I would. I loved the idea of this product was so excited to use it.Took it out of the package put the bag on it.went to fold it up and it broke and not just one spot but it broke in two spots. Not sure if I just got one from a bad batch.
