The Tactical Crank Cocking Device installs seamlessly into any Barnett Tactical Series crossbow to reduce cocking resistance by as much as 93 percent. Both from a strength and operational standpoint, the crank handle is easier and less intimidating for many crossbow shooters to use than a rope cocking device. The tactical CCD won't impact your shooting experience, but it will greatly improve the cocking process to get you ready to shoot faster.

I'm impressed with the ability to crank the bow string back without the extra strain that is normally there. I haven't used it for rapid reload yet, but will add a review when I do.

I think this was an outstanding piece of equipment. It just didn't fit my bow. I can't believe how fast they refunded the money. Thank you Barnett. I love your products

This will not work with the 370. While it will mount to it it cannot lock the draw string back because it’s hooks hang on the auto safety and cannot crank any further. The hand cocker works just fine. It’s easier and faster to than this crank. Don’t waste your money.

The device works to cock the bow but car must be taken to be sure the cords wind onto the spools properly. The handle and spools are sturdy, but the cord size makes me nervous. The slightest bit of wear on the cords will necessitate replacement. Stowing and un-stowing the hooks is cumbersome and must be done carefully to make sure the cords wind up evenly. For the model of crossbow I put this on, the device pulls downward on the bowstring. This will have the effect of wearing both the bowstring and the cocking device faster than if it was designed to pull straight back.Considering this device sells for more than $100, it should have features that provide convenient stow/unstow features. So, while it works as intended, it is rather primitive for the price.

I put this on my Barnett 390. The installation only took about 15 to 20 minutes. It pulls the string back with ease. It is so easy that my 11 year old can crank it back.

This device works great for me especially since I'm a paraplegic. Just got it last Thursday and have fired off 12 shots with no issue. Only problem I see is a little wobble in the spindle while cranking.

So apparently there is a problem with Barnett sending proper instructions with the crank. Once you attach the crank and put the hooks on the string you have to loop the crank string back over where the cocking rope goes.

It's a bit of a process to load your bow each time. But it works well and once you get the hang of the process it's not too bad. I got it for more consistent shots and it definitely helps take away that variable from offside manual pulls. It jams against the crank handle each time though. The design should have had the crank angle outwards more to avoid hitting the hooks everytime.

Nice but useless without handle to cocking it . It came without . Missing ?One month later I make that review....... No reaction. So I guess I have to build a handle myself so I'm able to use the crank device.
