This antenna is about six or 7 inches long and it has four corner ribs. It is nice and durable. It comes with an adapter in case your vehicle has a different size which is smaller than the jeep for the jeep. You will not need this adapter do not install the adapter toss it aside and keep it. If I had my old antenna, I would have been able to reuse my old antenna with this adapter because the old antenna that I bought came with a plastic adapter, and this one is metal brass.. if I had this adapter before my antenna fell off I would be able to reattach it. I lost it at the car wash. I tested the new one in the car wash and I had no issues so the Santana is real durable and she will go through the car wash without cracking off on you. The problem with the old antenna that I had was a metal pop, metal adapter and it rusted right through and then my antenna came with it at the car wash when it broke the adapter in half. I will edit this after one year.

It seems reception is slightly less than factory antenna, which is to be expected since it's shorter. Oem was glued in so you might have the same issue. Theis antenna went on perfectly hand tighten

I take my truck through a car wash that has brushes and they spin off my long antenna. This one is small and flexible and stays on. It seems to work as well as my other antenna did so I am happy with it. It also looks pretty cool. I haven’t gone into an area that would have bad reception but all the areas that I’ve driven in I haven’t had any problems. it’s extremely easy to install just unscrew the old one, screw in the new one and you’re done. It also is a little rubbery on the bottom which I think will hold it into place better than the original. The sound quality seems to be as good or better than the original.

Used this antenna for 2.5 years. Bought when this antenna was $13 and an OEM was $50. This antenna works ok, not perfect, for an inexpensive replacement. It's is good for FM, not great range. Does not pick up AM at all. Replaced this with an OEM antenna and there is a difference.

Easy to install. Nothing more than a crescent wrench to remove the stock one. Radio stations still come in clear.

My OEM antenna disintegrated in several areas. After searching extensively online I saw that this seller and the BASIKER brand antenna had great reviews and functionality for jeeps of my year (2011 Grand Cherokee). I received it in a timely fashion considering it was coming from the US and it was literally a plug and play install (well screw it on). Everything works perfectly with reception. I haven’t tried my gps yet as it is already obsolete, but my cell phone and radio reception are perfect even in an underground parking lot. It is only slightly shorter than the OEM.

Tiene muy buen aspecto y ya la instale, sujeción firme, solo espero que la recepción de radio am y FM sea buena y amplia,Al menos en aspecto, estética y evitar que en el túnel de lavada la antena ande brincoteando ya cumplió!!!
