The battery is from India and not sure where the o ring is made. The O ring is smooth but harder than i would think is normal. installed it onto a Cobra 3 and it worked in a pool, if it works well then i will not repost but if it leaks and ruins my dive computer i will make sure to edit this post...The only reason for 3 stars is because i am waiting to know how well it will work at 100 ft. Will edit soon after my dive...Came back from my dive and the oring and battery worked as expected. Started shut down no issues, the oring worked up to 90 feet. Not bad for the price or the fact you cant get the OEM from SUUNTO unless you are a "tech" oh well their loss...

O-ring fits my suunto Gekko good, battery was fully charged and way more grease than you will need.

this kit covers everything you will need for a home replacement of a Suunto dive computer battery. While at times buying just the needed battery at a pharmacy is sufficient, having the new O-ring is nice and at times essential. A quick you tube review of the process makes it easy to do this replacement yourself.

Just what I needed for a busy year of diving. The O ring and battery are easy to install. Just remember to clean every thing well and apply a small amount of silicone grease to the O ring for proper sealing.
