I finally bought the Battle Creek Bed Warmer with Three-Temp Settings and 8-Hour auto Shut-Off, Provides Low, Gentle Warmth All Night Long.I have used the Battle Creek products like their Thermophore Moist Heating Pads, for many years and they all work very well.I had been using one of my Thermophore Moist Heating Pads, a 14" x 27" sized one, for keeping my feet and ankles warm in bed during winter. But sometimes that pad gets too hot, and it is also an auto-switch so it turns off after 25 or 30 minutes.I really needed something with a lower heat that would stay on all night long. So, I decided to buy this Battle Creek Bed Warmer and see if it meets my needs better, which it does! This Pad seems to work very well, but it does have a few things I don't like too much. - The Pad takes a long time to reach the maximum heat! Like at least an hour! - Because of the long start-up time, I have to remember to turn it on way before bedtime! - The cord switch is in the totally wrong place for reaching my feet in my Queen-size bed! - The Cord may be 10 feet long, but it should be even longer for going from the Pad to the switch! - You have to remember to hold the power button down at least 5 seconds to turn this Pad on! - The Pad gets bunched up very easily, so its suggested to place it under your fitted sheet, but I don't. - The Velcro placement strips are useless for attaching to the bed, even under a fitted sheet! - The silly little storage bag is too small for the pad rolled up. - For me, the cord is too short from the control to the Pad, if I put it under my fitted sheet down by my feet! - I wish this pad came with the nice thick cotton flannel cover like the other Thermophore heating Pads do. I tried to contact the manufacture to see if I can buy a cover, but they do not sell any covers for it. - IMPORTANT! - DO NOT EVER FOLD THIS PAD!CONCLUSION: - All-in-all, I absolutely LOVE the warmth that this Pad gives off, once it has gotten to max warmth, set on high. - After this Pad heats up, then I usually turn it down to medium or sometimes even down to low. - I like the 18" x 36" size of the pad, but don't like how it tends to bunch-up during the night! - The cord is too short for me to put this pad under my fitted sheet because the stretchy jersey type of bed sheets I use have very strong elastic all the way around them to keep the sheets snug. - So, basically I am very happy with this Battle Creek Bed Warmer, but it sure needs the cord lengthened between the control and the pad itself!UPDATE 09/20/2024: - I have been using this Battle Creek Bed Warmer pretty much every single night for a little over 9 months now. It has been holding up very well. - My solution for wanting a nicer protective cover for this Bed Warmer was to buy these Quilted KING-SIZE Pillow Protectors, which I mention down near the bottom of this review. - I've been using them around 8 months and I totally love them on my Bed Warmer! - The Battle Creek Bed Warmer Pad fits perfectly into these KING-SIZE Quilted Pillow Protectors! - I only partly zip them closed to give about 2 inches of it unzipped for the cord to pass through. - The KING-SIZE Quilted Pillow Protectors really keep my Battle Creek Bed Warmer clean. - The quilter covers also work perfectly for giving a bit of extra padding so I don't notice the bumpy Heating Elements inside the Battle Creek Bed Warmer so much, making the Pad much more comfortable! -- AMAZON INFO FOR PILLOW PROTECTORS THAT FIT THIS BATTLE CREEK BED WARMER PAD! -- - Quilted Feather Proof Pillow Protectors King Pair 20x36 Inches Extra Soft Thick Ultra Plush White Zippered Set of 2 - ASIN: B08QYPS8VM

I love this foot warmer. I keep my house pretty cool. As long as my feet stay warm I can keep my room as cool as I like it and I stay warm. The fact that it turns its self off after about 8 hrs is a plus. I never have to worry when I’m away from the house if I turned it off. The size is great. If I curl up my hips and feet keep warm. When I lay on my side my feet and some of my legs stay warm. There’s even room for my Westie to curl up with me to get warm. I keep warm on the first setting. To me it’s more practical in cost, comfort and care than a full size electric blanket.

Ive had this heating pad for about 8 months and use it at the foot of my bed at night. I’ve only ever had to use it on low as it heats nicely. As others have said, the cord is very short so I can’t put it on my nightstand. The fabric is NOT soft so it uncomfortable to use on top of the fitted sheet, so I put it under the sheet which helps, but it still slides around a lot (and I’m not a restless sleeper!). It works great for when It’s too warm for an electric blanket, but my feet are still cold. All in all it works well and makes for a much more comfortable night sleep

Yeah, it basically works, although even on the hottest setting it’s only kind of warm. But the stupid thing is the coed length, OK, so it’s a foot warmer, intended to go at the foot of the bed, to keep your feet warm. That’s the whole point of a foot warmer, right? So how about you make the cord long enough so the control can be somewhere near the head of the bed, where I’m most likely to want to use it? How hard is that? Evidently too hard. The control cord is so short that it gets to about halfway from the foot to the head of the bed, which means the control is hanging out somewhere along the side of the bed, halfway toward my feet, if I can fumble around in the dark and find it.This is really stupid. How hard would it be to simply imagine how this thing would really be used, and make it work for that? How much would that cost? Another three feet of cord? Really? How can you go through the entire process of design, engineering, and manufacturing, and never ask the simple question, does this product actually get the job done? No, it doesn’t.I’m editing this review to only give it one star. It’s just pathetic at producing heat. It takes it about an hour, on high, to get even noticeably warm. Yeah, if you turn it on two hours before you go to bed it will get sort of warm, and then unless you reset it it will turn off in the middle of the night. Just not worth the trouble.

I bought this because my feet get cold at night and I wanted a heated pad that wouldn't auto-off after only 2 hrs. This one is perfect... it's large enough, warm enough, and turns off after 8 hrs. I have slept so much better since buying this bed warmer. Love it!!

I put this just under the fitted matress sheet. I didn't see an up or down on it, so I turned it to allow for more chord length. The chord is long enough to reach along the side of the mattress to the night stand and over about three feet to an electrical outlet. On the first setting of three, the warmth is like someone was just sitting on the bed. I've never used the other two settings, didn't need it any warmer. Perfect for me on the first setting with my feet covered up. I really like the eight hour run time. Wish I had this years ago. If possible I would give six stars.

Perfect size for keeping your feet warm while sleeping. A full 8-hour timer is much better than another leading brand that shuts off much earlier. Only downside I've experienced so far is that there are only 3 temperature settings. Low is about 90F, Medium about 120F, and High haven't tried yet. Medium was way too hot, and Low is a bit too low compared to an ideal low temp of 100F. The pad is also scratchy, however covering it in a pillow case does help.

Being a geezer my feet often get cold at night in the winter. This pad, laying under my bottom sheet by my feet is easy to use even in dark and on the middle setting is perfect to keep my feet warm. Great buy.

This bed warmer is very uncomfortable. Even with a good cover one can feel all the prominent heating filaments. As well, the grips provided are insufficient to keep the bed warmer in place. I am returning this item.
