I use these DAILY with students Kindergarten through 5th grade. They sound great, and are holding up really well!

Good kid size, a little small for an adult. Gives a good sound.

An excellent buy for using with the marimba !!!I love these ''adult size'' soft rubber mallets. The black and yellow color scheme is attractive, the raised handles allow you to grasp the mallets firmly and also add to their weight which enhance the tone quality when playing the marimba. They produce a softer, almost muted sound on the xylophone and glockenspiel's lower and middle range, however do not work well in the higher range. They are a bit too soft and do not render a clear, distinct tone so I don't recommend them for that. Overall they're good mallets. Recommended as stated...

These are great for my 9yr old sons beginning glockenspiel/xylophone lessons. They’re a hard rubber end and much more sturdy than the super cheap all plastic ones that came with the set we bought. These still have a plastic handle but they’re more sturdy. I also really like that the handle length-it’s not super long like a lot of mallets.

Don't bother buying these unless you also order some super glue, because the rubber handles fall off pretty much out of the box.
