I've been using the mix for about a week now. I do think, currently, it's overpriced for what it does. But it does what it does very well. It's not super intuitive to get started but once you know, RTFM, it's simple.Themes appear to be coming in the future which would be nice to have.Things that could be better:Unless I missed it I can't find any way to change the profile from the Mix, you have to use software.It's hard to imagine any screen manufactured this day in age wouldn't be touchscreen. That could have opened a lot of opportunities on this device.Overall It makes controlling audio directly for different apps is a great quality of life improvement.

I love this device now that everything is working, and I didn't see any other device with the same set of features I was looking for. I really want to give it 5 stars, but given the software issues I had, I just can't.Pros* Display Info - The screen for each knob has a user defined label and shows a list of apps associated with each knob.* Configurability - The software allows you to create multiple profiles to define what the knobs do. Each profile lets you define what to call each knob and drag and drop your open applications to one of the knobs. You can associate more than one app with a knob. For example, you could associate Chrome and Edge with a knob and control the volume of both apps with that knob.* Ease of Use - Once you get past some setup issues with the software and have everything configured the way you like it, it just works. Changing the volume or muting apps couldn't be easier.Cons* Flaky Software - Getting everything to work the way it should is rough. Sometimes things just don't work until you do some combination of restarting the app, restarting the computer, creating a new profile, moving a source from one knob to another and then moving it back to where you want it.* Price - To add the convenience of being able to change the volume on apps without opening the Windows mixer, I feel the price is a bit steep.* Build Quality is Mixed - Everything seems solid except for the knobs. They are wobbly on the posts they are mounted on. For the price, I expect no play in the knobs.

randomly stops working, which is frustrating. When it works, it’s fantastic, but it often stops working without any clear reason. I end up having to completely disconnect it just to continue my meetings. The concept is great, and the product looks amazing, but I’m genuinely disappointed it didn’t work as expected. I really wanted this to succeed. This absolutely needs an update and would be great to have a pairing audio interface or mic jack

Awesome device! I'm not a content creator but I bought these as my speakers have no volume dial, and I was interested in separating program volumes such as Zoom and this did not dissapoint. I had some issues initially getting it to work, and it was very difficult to find out how to get ahold of BEACN, eventually I found them on Reddit (which I had to create an account for). Apparently they usually onlyconduct their customer support through Discord (which I wasn't about to download as I had already went out of my way for reddit) but one of their staff was kind enough to give me their Email and was able to troubleshoot my issue in no time and my installation and program was working awesome!My favorite feature as a host for zoom meetings is that my programing one of the dials for zoom, you can control the volume of your screen share separate from your speakers output volume.Very practical applications for non streamers as well. I often will watch a show or movie on chrome and play a game on another screen and it's awesome to turn one volume up or down seamlessly so easily. Great device. Get it!

My husband has looked up every single way to get this to work. It turns on, but I can’t get it to switch correctly from headphones to speakers. My husband has the next model up and I worked flawlessly. So this currently lays on my desk.

ORIGINAL REVIEW IS BELOW THE LINE, but I just wanted to update.There was a software update provided, and since then, every single stability issue I had is *entirely* gone. I have not experienced a crash in over a week, and it's been absolutely rock solid. 0 stress to use, 0 annoyance, and it's just a natural part of my PC use. Especially while streaming. It site right next to my Loupedeck.----------------------------When it works, it's awesome. The application it pairs with, however, freezes or otherwise stops working at least once per day. The screen on the device goes black and the app doesn't respond. Need to force end the process in the task manager and restart the program, then reseat the USB connection to fix it. When it works it's amazing to have, I just wish it was more stable.

Gives you only 4 channels so you can assign either 1 or multiple software, playback device, or audio source to each Channel. This allows to control the volume of what ever is assigned to that channel. I have a dual pc streaming setup and I was looking for an audio control device for my gaming pc to allow me to seperatly change volume level of Discord, Spotify and etc.. without needing to alt+tab out of the full screen software and the beacn mix made that happen for me. The software Is well made and it worked fine and so far I had no issues. I didn't give it 5 stars because of first the build quality , and second the screen. The device feels very plastic and the knobs are not that well made and don't have a good quality feeling turning them. The screen is giant but most of it stays empty, they could at least add a little digital clock somewhere on this much of empty screen since it is sitting on desk all day. There are only a few themes available and you cannot change the background. I purchased it during a sale, but I still think the Mix model for only controlling volume of 4 channels is too expensive.

I really like what this product sets out to do. Ever since I switched away from my Astro A50s, I have been struggling to find a product that can effectively mix multiple audio channels (2 at the bare minimum). I first solved this problem with Steelseries GG, but eventually it started to crash the windows audio service. I had an eye on this product for a while and eventually bit the bullet. I can confidently say that it has solved my issues, and allows easy audio mixing.The setup process is what loses this product a star. I am a very technical person and it took me 30+ minutes to get this thing working. For whatever reason, the software would not see the mixer. Through some combination of PC restarts and uninstalling/reinstalling the app with or without the mixer connected I eventually got it working, but I feel that this process really needs some adjusting.Good product otherwise though. Company is Canadian and relatively small so they get kudos from me for that. TL;DR, BEACN needs to refine the install experience but has otherwise made a good product for on the fly audio mixing.

Does not deal well with switching between headphones and speakers , uses tiny amount of CPU ( I would expect near near if not zero ) but it’s ok
