I am very pleased with my Beatles Russian Matryoshka dolls, or nesting dolls. The quality is very good. The likenesses are excellent, and I like that they are finished with a clear coat. I would recommend these to any Beatles fan, and they would make the greatest gift. They are a diminutive joy to play with and examine.

First the pros: Artwork is fantastic, really enjoy the contrast of colors and wonderful piece if you're a Beatles fan or giving it as a gift to someone who is. The paint work here is delightful, the wood is top notch. They have a very fancy and expensive look to them. They also picked the best possible renditions of the Beatles for these in terms of overall looks.Cons:1. If you are getting it as a gift, almost assuredly the first thing the gift receiver will see upon opening is the HUGE Made In China label on the bottom, really wish it wasn't SO pronounced for gifting's sake.2. The SOUND - MY GOD THE SOUND. My set is much too tight though I'm sure a little sandpaper will take care of that. But because of the tightness, the sound it makes when you try to separate the pieces is reminiscent of nails on the chalkboard and that really caught me off guard.Conclusion:These look and feel great, the artwork and paint work is top notch, only thing that would keep me from recommending is that shrieking sound they make and the big ole Made In China painted bottom if you're gifting. If you can look past that, it's a great set for a collector or fan, will look nice in any space you decide to use them.
