This was the star gift at Christmas for my 18 month old. He loves it, he runs around yelling star, stacks them, etc. They are a hard plastic, they stack together like nesting dolls, or each one forms a box, or you can stack them.

I purchased these for a client’s daughter on her first birthday. She began playing with them immediately and, according to my client, the child still loves them and plays with them a lot.Quality seems excellent, colors are pleasing to the eye, and I feel good about the safety of them knowing that small children frequently put objects in their mouths.

These stars are so much cooler than I thought they'd be! I have 2 boys, ages 20 months and 4 years old, and they absolutely love these stars! There's so many ways you can play with them: nest them whole, nest just the halves, stack them whole, stack just the halves in 2 stacks or into one giant stack, put objects inside the stars (my boys' favorite!), organize them smallest to largest, there's so many options! I also love the soft colors and the super small footprint when nested and put back on the shelf. All around a fantastic purchase!

Bought this stacking star set as a gift.Liked - Edges of stars are rounded, well made, very aesthetic color palette. Will have to wait for verdict on how the 8-10 month old likes it.Disliked - The packaging / manufacturer’s box was dinged up / paper scuffed / damaged (see pics). I don’t have time to exchang or return and reorder so will have to gift as is which I’m not happy about at all.
