I just purchased some cookbooks and this stand is perfect for them. It’s super sturdy , the cookbooks are thick and heavy, so this stand is really good for them. It also looks very nice and more minimal then other designs

This product does what it’s intended to do. It holds books open. I wish the bar was a little lower or thinner. I use it to hold my IPad as well while I read recipes. It functions as intended. The wood does seem like very thin cheap wood. I’d imagine it’d swell and crack if you washed it too many times or kept it in a super humid environment. It has two angles closed and open. I’m sure you could try to balance it in between those two but you’d be risking it falling over. It does look good for the money. My WiFi added some designs she made on the circuit and it really makes it pop! Plus now it looks like it was intentional when I leave it out.

Nice piece of wood with a smooth finish. It fits my thickest cook book. I love it and would buy it again. Well recently (Dec) I bought another one. So far so good.
