I like these a lot better than the iniversal boots. The material is very similar to oem quality. The clamps are very strong. It also comes with the grease. I’ve purchased these several times and so far haven’t had any problems.

Boot material is sufficient and it comes with grease and both clamps. No special tool needed to close the clamps, just a needle nose. This is the inner boot on either of the front axcles 06 CRV

Used to repair my 1992 Honda Accord's inner, passenger-side CV joint. I accidentally sliced the original one when doing some suspension work, but the CV joint is perfectly fine, so I didn't want to buy a new axle. It's probably worth it, buying a new axle, since the process of replacing a boot is kind of time consuming, but Grandpa YouTube helped me figure out what to do, and I did it without a hitch, saving a lot of money. I can't say I love the little tension rings they give you to secure the boot, but... they work and they're what everyone else gives you, too. I didn't replace the lock ring that is supplied, the one on the axle looked fine and I didn't want to create more work for myself. Came with enough grease. And this is one messy job, so wear surgeon gloves or something similar.

este cubre olvo es para lado rueda , no es para interior o lado diferencial , pues de lado de diferencial la forma es diferente (es tipo triangular no es redonda.pero un asi funciona muy bien, pues aproveche para cambiar los de lado rueda.traseros. y quedo muy bien

Excellent quality boot material appears to be exactly like the original boot that split after so many years of service.The grease package is just right amount for the job, just make sure you completely remove the old one in case they aren't the same formula and water got in it. After so many years the OEM grease had become much thinner from shearing, so I'm glad the kit came with new grease.As others have said, the clamping bands are the weak link of this otherwise great set. They are made of thinner metal than the OEM boot and require a special tool for proper tightening. For the price they sell this kit at, I feel the manufacturer should have included the much sturdier locking band type that only requires pliers to tighten
